My company held an event at the Edina Country Club for a luncheon meeting. We had the space set up for 125 guests. The staff here are extremely helpful. You can ask anyone for something and even if it's not their specialty, they'll try to help you.

The room itself is quite dark for my preferences. The hallway to enter the ballroom is long and narrow and again, super dark. Some people might not mind, but I wanted to point it out.

We put in our food order ahead of time and got a plated salad, some rolls, a main course of chicken with potatoes and veggies, and then a tray of desserts to be passed around. All in all, I would say the food was quite good. The chicken had a really nice flavor and the potatoes were nicely coated in butter ha!

If you are looking at having an event here or a wedding, the staff is great. I didn't like how dark the room was, but for a large meeting it was totally fine.

Thank you to everyone at the Edina Country Club last night for a beautiful Edina Chamber of Commerce Night of Stars Gala at your facility.
Your club looked stunning and felt cozy warm, all service was A++, drinks and food also A++.
Just a small note.. the sound system in the large reception area still needs work-I'm sure you are aware of this.

Had dinner last night as a guest. Service great. Cocktails tasty. It was "Thanksgiving Buffet" night. I've had much better food at Old Country Buffet back in the day when that place was around. Our host/member was embarrassed. Although the prime rib roast was fine, everything else on the buffet was canned or phoned in.

Brought my family for lunch today for a bday celebration. Suki was our waitress who has been there for years. She is very efficient and gets her job done. The food was delicious. I had a chicken stir with ginger sauce very tasty. Most times I order whatever their weekly special is.

Classic, old-money country club in the heart of Edina. I was there for an event recently.

I've been to the Edina Country Club a few times for meetings/speakers/lunch during the winter. The facility is nice and the staff has always been pleasant, likewise, food has been good. Nothing has blown my socks off when I go, but in their defense, I've only seen the place in the winter and only spend about 2hrs in the same room each time.

Beyond disgusted with the way my wedding reception turned out, it was a complete disaster! I searched for months trying to find the perfect venue and fell in love with the space here. If I would've known in advance the lack of concern with the management here I would've never booked!

We got married 7/23/16 and upon arrival to our reception I was told we had NO POWER. After checking into things it turned out the power went out at 11:43 that morning and our guests arrived at about 4:00. Durning that time they took no action to get the venue functioning. They could have simply rented generators but chose to wait on Xcel instead.

Upon arrival of our guests it was extremely hot in the country club. We had guests leave before dinner was even served because they were feeling ill due to the heat, it must have been 95-100 degrees in there! We had a guest in a wheel chair that had to get up stairs since there was no elevator functioning. We had no music for the bridal party entrance, something I worked on and picked out myself. During dinner we also had no music due to the power issue. We offered steak and chicken as meal options and had complaints from multiple guests who ordered the steak that it was extremely under cooked and bloody. We originally picked roasted potatoes but got mashed since they simple couldn't make them. We were supposed to be able to take out a golf cart to do pictures which was very important to me and were simple told "oh they're locked up now so we can't."

Our reception did not even START until around 7:30 PM and the only reason we even had a reception was because of our parents, photographer, and other guests. Both of our parents left our reception to get fans and generators so we could have a reception. Without them we would've never had our first dance and music in general!
This is truly disgusting and horrible customer service on Edina Country Club's part. Your guests should never be responsible to get YOUR venue functioning. We did meet with the GM Bill Chrysler and did receive some money back but no amount of money will ever give me back my wedding day. It was completely ruined simply because they chose to do nothing to correct the problem. I am also still currently awaiting my so called "letter of apology" that Bill Chrysler said he would be personally writing which at this point I will never see. If they really cared I would've had that within a week of our wedding, it's now been 6 1/2 weeks.

So BEWARE if you book through this venue especially in the summer months. I am sure if the weather would've been perfect we probably would've had a nice wedding. It just shows that they do not know how to handle anything or correct it if something does go wrong. I was also told that this is a common occurrence so therefore they should have a back up plan, especially if you host weddings!

My husband and I were so pleased with our wedding reception held at the club. Both Amy and Cindy were so helpful. Amy pulled everything together. Gorgeous rooms. Five stars.

Prestine facilities, kind and quick service, gorgeous golf course make Edina Country Club a staple in the city of Edina. I've attended meetings and weddings and always found the food to be well prepared, presented and full of flavor.

Nothing beats the view of a beautiful golf course on a gorgeous Summer afternoon and Edina Country Club's greens always look perfect.

My wedding was perfect thanks to Amy and the outstanding staff at the Edina Country Club. If I could give 10 stars I would. Absolute class!
