Q:
I have same question, is this Eddie's House?
A:
No.. Eddie's House was on Indian School, which was sold in 2017. This is Eddie V's , which is a high end chain specializing in steak and seafood.
Kimberly V.Â1 year agoQ:
Do you need a reservation for the bar?
A:
If you get there early, as soon as they open, there are plenty of seats. The bar fills up fast though, literally 15 minutes after they open.

Big props to management. They missed giving my girlfriend a free dessert for her bday. I let them know that via a post-visit survey.
They followed-up by calling me the same day to apologize and send me a gift card. I really appreciate that!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 102109259Feb 16, 2024Updated review2 check-ins
Enjoyed Valentines '24 here.
We ordered a little of everything, which was delicious. But our waitress Caitie made it even better.
To start, got an old fashioned and a mocktail by no particular name. Mocktail not so good so I drank water the rest of the way. For dinner we ordered the branzino (came out piping hot), 10oz filet w lobster tail (both cooked perfectly), crab fried rice (tasted like they put extra love in there that night), and 3 oysters (salten and watchouse- the salten was BOMB).
Oh and we had wedge salad. They really need to sell that crispy bacon bc, I would buy it.
At the end of the night, there were vases of roses, multiple dozens, and i asked what was happening with them. They did give one rose w the check at the end, btw. Caitie didnt know but asked me did I want some. I was shook. I said sure, however many you want to bring. Yall look at my picture
Thanks Eddie Vs, Ill be back for that fried rice next week.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Aug 25, 2020Previous reviewTonight (8/25) I came to Eddie Vs to celebrate my birthday and have a nightcap w one additional party. We arrived at 8:59pm.
There was no one at the hostess stand upon entry. That was to be expected.
There were about 10 ppl sitting at the bar at this time.
We proceeded to the bar top to speak w the bartender.
The bartender never acknowledged us, instead walked around the bar and stated that the establishment was closed and closes at 9pm. We advised having confirmed the 10pm closing hour via Google Maps. To which she replied hours had changed, to check the website, "we close at 9pm. The kitchen is closed. So..."
(Let me just say, what if we had only been coming in here for a drink? She never took the time to converse and find out our business or find a solution.)
My date double checked the website which said 10pm, presented this to the bartender, in which she replied "ok youre going to need to check Google."
We asked for the manager.
The situation was explained by my date.
The manager then said "ok, its only 5 after, we can seat you."
There was another table already seated, but clearly had menus and had not ordered yet. Another table was sat across from us, with no problem.
So which one is it? You close at 9 or 10? Or do bartenders just pick and choose who you want to seat after a certain time?
Our waiter was awesome! The food was delicious. He even gave me a birthday dessert. The bananas foster was superb. The three stars are solely for the waiter and the meal. We were very disappointed by the way the experience started. - Deniece P.Litchfield Park, AZ0186Feb 11, 2024
We had my mom-in-law's birthday party at Eddie V's and it was amazing! The food, the service, the event coordinator were outstanding! Big compliments to Deborah the event coordinator and to Eric and Olya our servers, professional, friendly just amazing! The food from the bread to the main course (I had the sea bass) was delicious, hats off to the chefs on their outstanding cooking and presentation.
If anyone says anything negative about the restaurant, food or service is someone that is an unhappy person and needs something to complain about.
This is my first time here, I don't know anyone at Eddie V's, I am just giving my own review as our whole dinner party was completely impressed with everything.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 3, 2024
First time here & loved it. Especially if you're looking for seafood & steaks. Changing or updating your reservation is pretty hard here I must say - staff would not budge when I called.
Waiters were attentive - only thing is we ran out of water a few times but they still ended up coming to refill water
The setting is beautiful, intimate and dim. Loved the live music that was playing, it was a great time.
We ordered the seafood tower (the big Eddie),
lobster bisque (tasty!)
ceasar salad,
jumbo gulf shrimp which was stuffed with crab,
Lamb chops (cooked perfect)
King crab legs (steamed)
SIDES:
Truffled Mac & cheese,
Crab fried rice (MUST order)
Grilled asparagus
Broccolini
The entrees alone with the sides were extremely filling and we even had leftovers.
I would love to visit again and try other items on the menu.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 0 - Dec 28, 2023
Came here for a birthday party. We had a private room outside the bar area. There was piano player and signer for the night. The vibe was nice. Very upscale and ritzy. Perfect place for a party and date night.
We all ordered different items. The food was tasty and the presentation was appealing. The service was spot on.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Madison P.Babylon, NY0911Apr 11, 2024
This is a family staple and it never disappoints. The service is always 10/10 the kindest most informative waiters who although are busy take the time to make your visit feel special. It gives old steakhouse vibes which typically isnt my scene but they find ways to modernize the space. I always get the same thing because you simply cannot go wrong. They have the best crab cake iv ever had and I am a snob when it comes to this. Filled with crab lumps while not being overly fishy or breadcrumb heavy. For dinner I get the sole which is light buttery and lemony, my favorite combination. Sides are truffle mac the Brussel sprouts which they have perfected and for dessert as always the banana foster which is out of this world. I always come here and leave ready to come back

Made a reservation 2 months in advance for a birthday, highly recommend the lounge area since they get fully booked. Chose the lounge area because they play live music every evening in the lounge, on Sunday it was 6 to 8 and it was classic jazz which we loved, think Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole.
For drinks we had the Smoked tableside Old Fashioned, Golden Hour (excellent), 24 Karat (think strawberry champagne), Elixir (smooth one).
For food we had the Lollipop Lambchops, Parmesan Sole, 12oz Filet Mignon with a Blue Cheese Crust, black Truffle Mac and Cheese, and Crab Fried Rice. While everything was good, the Filet Mignon was great! We were informed all of the seafood is flown in everyday fresh.
Major plus was the Bananas Foster Flambéed tableside which was the complimentary birthday dessert. We also ordered the Belgian Chocolate Cake which was alright.
Service was excellent! Maryssa really made it enjoyable.
For pricing, this was $300 for 3 people.
There is valet, or you can park in the nearby parking garage.Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Steve K.Gilbert, AZ199145280Jan 26, 2024

As the world's biggest seafood tower enthusiast, I must admit that this one took the cake. I'd been hearing about this place for years. It did not disappoint.
Classic steakhouse ambiance with truly professional staff. I really enjoyed the cocktail called the Hope Diamond. The wine list had great options. The steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the sides were incredible.
I will come every last time in in Scottsdale.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
