For the past 50+ years we at Duke's have served delicious home style food with the service one would expect of a long established business.

Ohhhhh YELP, for the win again.
While traveling, I was looking for a little hole in the wall mom/pops breakfast spot. This hit the mark and knocked it out of the PARK!
I knew upon pulling up to park it was going to be delicious. It was indeed a small little diner, and the parking lot was PACKED! Surprisingly, it was bigger inside than I had expected, and we were invited to sit anywhere. The waitress was there quickly & took our order with jokes to boot. She was too cute. They serve Pepsi (another bonus for me).
The food came out not too long afterward and holy moly......big portions and the flavor. So good. I was curious about this "award winning" chili and to put it in an omelet....it was good. I paid a little extra for the grilled onions to be added to my potatoes. It was so gooooood. We are definitely adding this to our list of places to go when we are in the area. Best part, great prices! It was less than $40 for 2 people with beverages and upgrades. If you're in the area, don't hesitate.....go check them out!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shar-ee M.CA, CA43814Nov 25, 2023
Stopped in for a quick breakfast.
The service was OUTSTANDING!! We were checked on several times and all our needs were met.
Food portions were big - almost too much to eat. You will not leave hungry.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Quint D.Oklahoma City, OK588Apr 14, 2024
Been going here since I was 5 years old. I'm 58 now and still going back on a regular basis. This place is a community institution, and if you've never been there, you've truly missed out. I recommend you make a point of checking it out.

We really enjoyed Dukes. I must say I was a little bit disappointed that the chicken fried steak with deep-fried rather than pan fried. But the hashbrowns we're good the coffee was good my friend enjoyed her breakfast I honestly can't remember what she ordered. My favorite part was that I was able to get a biscuit with gravy on it as my side to my chicken fried steak that's like unheard of. Overall was good price point was cheap the service was great. This is a typical breakfast joint that makes you feel like you've been in 1000 times so it just felt like home. We were staying at the hard rock café and just wanted to check something out in town so it was nice. We then went and did some shopping. Can I say the Ross and target in town are fantastic?!

This is as surprising as it gets. First of all, don't let the outside fool you. When you walk in you are greeted warmly, and there is a sense of going back to a time when people were kind to each other. We were seated promptly and the ambiance is very old fashioned diner. It was great. My husband and I went for breakfast and the food was terrific! Everything was fresh and delicious. Home town feel with great service and great food. The price was reasonable.

My go choice if available is always Chicken Fried Steak... this did not disappoint, you know it's good when you don't need a knife to cut it , Portion was large, gravy was very flavorful and not too starchy,
Place was clean and staff was very attentive and friendly
Price was very reasonable for the portion
My husband ordered hamburger steak and eggs, he really enjoyed his meal alsoHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kristen G.Sacramento, CA011Mar 4, 2024
I've haven't had a meal here that I didn't enjoy throughly. It's a great locally owned restaurant. The weight staff are excellent. Always busy.

Route 56 vibe with hometown food. Just waiting for Mel and Flo to pop out and feed the crowd. Seriously, a great place to eat and enjoy a "home" cooked meal.

Omg this place is a must go to! Do not miss out on this hidden gem. It's a total hole in the wall little diner. Everyone was super friendly, and the service is very fast. Coffee cups were never empty and the food, amazing!!! They had tons of options with the coffee creamers. Lots of food options and my food was so good. I didn't get pics of my friends good but everything looked so good and portions are huge. You have a choice of toast or biscuits and gravy with almost every dish. The bacon is crispy and the house potatoes are a must have. If I lived in Cali still I would frequent this place.

Our server was awesome.
We both ordered the special. But had to try the "scoop" of chili. Not disappointed. Very good. Bacon was excellent.
We will come again if we ever find ourselves back in Olivehurst.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
