Unfortunately, this place is closed. This place served great food and I am going to miss it. They served the most authentic Chinese cuisine in Juneau.

Dragon Inn serves the most authentic Chinese cuisine in Juneau. Their roast duck is especially good and I like their Singapore rice noodles. They have dim sum but very limited variety.

First of all I think this place is permanently closed? I've eaten here twice both a few years ago. The food was very good. Sorry it is not open.

Best appetizer platter of any Asian restaurant ever. Ever. Ever.
Can't tell you how many times we have though of ordering 8 dim sum app platters for just the two of us.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 6, 2020Updated review
Unfortunately in the past couple years the quality has gone down a lot. The staff is nice but the food is not pleasant. It's made really fast and tastes like it's leftovers that was heated up. I rather wait for fresh food that has been done correctly

I think the food is pretty good but I wish I could get a whole peeking duck uncut. This town doesn't seem to be very enthusiastic about Chinese food but personally I really like it

I am not sure how this place is getting 4 or 5 stars. I ordered chicken fried rice, and mongolian beef and 1 egg roll at $26.62. If you look at the menu you will see that it should have been $21.50 but I always give a place a chance to wow me. I did not get the wow. The food taste good, but even for Alaska it was missing alot.

This Restaurant and I have a deep connection. COVID has been especially cruel to certain businesses, especially those that provided a sit down meal as their main service. This little family has given so much to the community that I will NEVER support another business with more loyalty than this one. I Love their food. And I Love supporting their hard working family and employees. Our town will hurt if we lose the Dragon Inn Restaurant and I'll do what I can to spread the word about their great food

My first restaurant I ate in Juneau. We ate lunch. We had the shrimp fried rice, house special lo mein, and the magolian beef. The shrimp in the rice and lo mein were so small and cold. I actually loved the mangoalian beef. The lo mein was decent. I really didnt care of the fried rice because the shrimp was such a disappointment. The hot tea was served in a glass cup. Weird. Wasnt that great either. Waitress gave refills of the tea not water. Prices decent. Overall it was ok. Im sure there has to be better chinese food out here....somewhere....

Since my original review posted in 2010, more recently I've noticed their quality has gone down, their weekday lunch specials, chicken with vegetables and fried halibut in hot garlic sauce, both proteins were overcooked, dry. No longer a restaurant I look forward to for dry, overcooked meat.
Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Aug 2, 2010Previous reviewDragon Inn Chinese Cuisine serves decent but not outstanding Chinese food. Visited during their lunch specials. Dim sum is decent, their crab siu mai and Tiramisu dessert was very good. One of their lunch specials I had the pleasure to experience was the filet of halibut in hot garlic sauce with pork fried rice. I asked to keep it mild or not hot, it came very mild, but so delicious, the pork fried rice was so-so. http://www.foodspotting.com/reviews/4295477

Can't review until we eat and we are here early because Yelp's info on hours is WRONG. I just posted a photo of Dragon Inn's Hours from their front door.
