Closes at 11:30 which is nice because a lot of the other laundromats close way earlier.
The owner came in to close and I still had some stuff in the dryers and he did not push me out the door. I stayed about 15 minutes after close and felt bad but he was very nice and let me stay. Not the nicest looking place but convenient and they appreciate the visit. Even though I stayed late the guy was still super nice and I appreciate that kind of service.
Although some of the washers and dryers are broken, they have signs on them so you dont use them and the ones that I used worked well and my clothes are dry!!
I like the dryers because its 25 cents for 7 minutes I like this because you dont have to pay for an hour and wait forever for your clothes. You can just dry as much as possible and then take your clothes. I dried mine about 3/4 of the way and took them home and hung everything up that needed more time.
Good location. Nice people.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Carol B.Boulder, CO02Jan 16, 2021
Nik the owner has been willing to pick up my laundry on his way in to Doozy Duds and drop it back on his way home. Such a deal! I live in S.W. Boulder-at no extra charge!!
He's been doing this for a few years. So I throw in everything too heavy for my back and give him the code to my garage to pick it up. He's dependable, professional and the clothes come back folded and super nicely clean. He's great! A+

Great service and great results!
Even my extremely delicate sweater went out perfect. We were very satisfied with this place, and definitely recommend it!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - J.t. M.Pass Christian, MS1867Dec 4, 2020
Great laundromat! Went in twice during this covid mess as a new guy in town and this place was full of all different kinds of folks! Everyone just doing their laundry and finding something to take up the time. A true place for the community.

The Good:
Doozy Duds is a family-owned business on the Hill that offers plenty of machines as well as excellent drop-off, wash-dry-fold laundry service. We drop our clothes off every week here and they do an awesome job, clothes return clean and perfectly folded. The facility is clean and conveniently located.
The Bad:
Like most places, they understandably charge more for comforters and heavy blankets, as well as other items such as rugs and dog beds.
The Laundry:
They do a great job, our laundry is always returned clean & folded nicely.
The Service:
Small family business with prompt service, and they are usually able to do same-day service. If dropping off, they weigh your laundry immediately (they recently raised their price from $1 to to $1.25 a pound), note the weight, have you write your name and # on a post-it note, and call you when it's ready. For two people washing laundry every week, it costs us between $20 and $30.
Overall:
I haven't used their self-service machines but I recommend Doozy Dud's for their affordable, fast, and well-done drop-off laundry service.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - LeAnn S.Miami, FL602Aug 16, 2019
Highly recommend Doozy Duds. It's conveniently located on the Hill and the owner is so helpful and attentive. We used the self serve machines and they were quick and did a good job. The owner helped me pick the best machine to do our bulky items, then helped load the other items for us. I didn't have coins so he started them for us and I didn't have to worry about getting dollar bills changed.
We were in a hurry running errands (College move in time) and the owner offered to remove our wet items and start the dryer for us so we didn't have to waste time sitting there waiting. The place has plenty of washers and dryers and cheaper than some of the other laundry mats for self service. Nice atmosphere and very helpful. Highly recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Glenn Y.Long Beach, CA92May 6, 2014
I agree wholeheartedly with Ariel J's review. I've used this place for the last three semesters here at CU. Great overall, reliable machines/people, closes late (11:30).
I also have stayed past close there numerous times, and both owners (a middle-aged Asian couple) are more than welcome to keep it open an extra few to let you finish up.
It has ~25 washers of differing sizes, ~20 dryers, two change machines, a soap/detergent dispenser, and an ATM. If a machine is out of order, it is only out of commission for a couple days. The owners have started replacing some of the machines this calendar year (2014). They got 6 new large washers in March, and IIRC the wife who owns it says that more were coming after the school year was up.
25 cents for 7 minutes dry, and it's usually 2.25 to wash in the smaller dryers and more in the newer, nicer ones (because they have tons of extra settings that require another quarter.)
Pretty clean + reliable for being a laundromat, and one in Boulder at that.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rosie G.Longmont, CO82Feb 7, 2019
Very good management, they have chaged the place drastically. I dont see the previos ppl working there, i assume it has a new management doing a great job

I went to this facility yesterday because of all the previous glowing reviews. Well, I think these reviewers are either the owners themselves or were paid for their review. This place is old, dirty, and the washers look like they are from the 70's. There were 7 washers with "Not Working" signs on them and 3 dryers. The chairs provided were so dirty and in disrepair I wouldn't have let my dog on them. There are about a years worth of old free publications strewn everywhere and while they have signs promising free wifi, the password is not provided. I felt like I needed to re-wash my laundry after leaving here. I was the only on in there for a period of 2 hours which says a lot. Stay away!
