Q:
Can someone confirm for me that they're open for lunch on Saturdays? I see pictures that show lunchtime but the hours seem non updated.
A:
I just walked by earlier, and their sign said 6-10pm every day. So They must not do lunch anymore.
R. M.Â4 years agoQ:
What is their phone number? Trying to make a reservation but don't know how.
A:
They don't have one that I've seen from walking by - I haven't had a problem just dropping by and getting seated

Update. First time we were able to eat-in here (we got busy kid schedules) since 2019....
For Thursday night, single sitting at 7:00pm, for 18-part omakase. Some pretty decadent stuff, such as wagyu with caviar and gold flakes, and requisite uni (attached photos)
Delicious and super filling... as usual!5/18/2020Previous reviewReally have upped their take-out game over the past couple months. Started off with a chirashi (more or less), but now the "omakase" option includes seasoned nigiri, fried items (including oyster), etc. Pretty impressive.

I don't normally leave reviews but this place was exceptional. The service is great and the food is even better. I came here for a birthday dinner and each ingredient used is fresh and melt in your mouth good! I have never been a fan of monkfish liver and my boyfriend has never liked sea urchin but this restaurant definitely changed our perspective. The menu is $150 per person for omakase but the amount given is more than expected than an average omakase especially in San Francisco.
I know many people don't really take into consideration for how a restaurant's bathroom is but this place has 3-ply toilet paper! Â I have never seen this in any restaurant in SF.
I highly recommend this restaurant for a date night, birthday dinner, or even just a casual dinner night out. I was not able to take photos of every dish because I got distracted eating. This place is worth going to for quality omakase! - Lindsay S.Phoenix, AZ3151817/17/2022
Exceptional sushi dinner experience top to bottom! I've been meaning to stop by Doma for a while and am so glad I finally made it happen. At first I was weary about the price fixe situation but my concerns were assuaged after one bite. Each bite is curated and prepared to perfection, timing was perfect and the folks who run things there were friendly and hospitable.
I'll definitely be introducing more folks to Doma in the future. Only downside is that I'm not sure if I can have sushi anywhere else after experiencing this place. - David W.San Francisco, CA01311/30/2022
Doma is one of the best Japanese restaurants I know. It's always o-makase (prix fixe/set meal) & not cheap, but every course is reliably delicious. Highly recommended!

Best omakase value I've had in the city. Don't expect the presentation level of a place like The Shota, but it more than makes up for it with quick service, a large meal, and the experience including uni, fatty tuna, wagyu and sake as part of the (relatively) cheap prix fixe price of $150. I imagine the only reason this place isn't on every critic's radar is that it's not in a trendy neighborhood.

I usually describe Doma as "our neighborhood omakase spot", but don't be fooled by the casual vibes, this is some of the best, if not the best, omakase in SF. There's a cute heated parklet, and the owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

Love this cozy restaurant run by a couple. Omakase only and it's delicious. Very high quality sushi and great atmosphere.

Overdue review but made a reservation for a Tuesday night for 3. I wanted to celebrate a special occasion with my daughter and her bf. Ended up we were the only diners for omikase that evening. Small plates were beautiful, mouth-watering and delicious. Each piece was special and artistic, not to mention the taste was on point. High quality fish and ingredients - I'm talking about caviar, gold flakes, wagyu. Even service was impeccable. Ambience was so cute and IG-worthy, think pink neon hearts and Einstein lightbulbs. Husband and wife team did a wonderful job! Can't wait to bring my husband here next time we're in town!

Highly recommend this place! The food is mind-blowing, the chef and staff are very nice, and it was the first time I felt very full after paying for a fancy dinner. I lived on Precita Ave for years and I always wanted to try this place. I chose to make a reservation on my birthday on Monday and my bf and I had a great time and a nice conversation with the chef too. I loved every single dish from this place!

Ate here with some friends last night, one of the best (and filling!) omakase meals I've had outside of Japan. Service was excellent as well, felt like I was being served by a family. Can't wait to return.
