Is this location a better deal than the other two?

      A:

I've never stayed at all star movies but comparing all star music to sports i like that music has family rooms so they're bigger & it's remodeled i think only the football area at sport is remodeled

    • Q:

Is this place worth staying I have 6 kids I'm bringing for a birthday party ? Are the rooms clean?

      A:

Rooms are clean and cast members are very responsive. Pool is nice and food court is pretty good as well (ask about the secret menu). You won't be disappointed. Unless you start comparing to a luxury resort. Then look at the difference in cost and… more

For a value hotel brand, it's worth the money.

The layout, similar to what I'd imagine looks like a motel or inn, but no drive up.

All rooms are entered via outdoor corridors. Stairs on either side with elevators in the middle.

The room itself had a Murphy bed which made a lot of sense. It gets cleaned every other day which is fine by me.

The pools, pretty warm and large. While I was there they had games/activities for kids, movie nights and a couple lifeguard per pool.

The rooms are updated with usb ports all over. The shower/toilet is separated from the vanity. There is a decent amount of store mage throughout.

The lobby kinda smells weird, but it's OK. The checkin took long, not sure why.

There is a cafeteria in the main building where the check in desk is ad well, this is a good idea.

Overall, definitely worth the cost and a decent hotel. My room was a but far from the pools and lobby, but it's OK. It's a large piece of land.

If I could give 3.5 star I would but I can't justify a 4 as this is essentially a glorified motel. It's a Disney property so it's well-themed, clean, etc but the rooms are nothing special. I'd rank it a 3, but the atmosphere bumps it half a point.

Pros - clean, well-maintained, excellent theming and decor, friendly staff, and easy transportation to the parks. Pool areas looked nice but didn't use them.

Cons - overpriced at times for the quality of rooms, huge property so buildings towards back are a LONG walk to the buses, small rooms, not a lot of bathroom space, not high quality inside, doors facing outdoors (motel style).

The All Star properties are the cheapest of the Disney resorts. It's always nice to stay on property given the bus transportation but there are often MUCH nicer Orlando hotels for same price as this one. It comes down to personal preference whether you want to pay more for less just to be on Disney property.

Having stayed at much nicer hotels, and not having young kids, I will probably entertain staying elsewhere next time as comfort is important to me especially if it's cheaper than Disney hotels.

8 of my friends stayed here at our trip to Disney World. This hotel was reasonably priced compared to the other resorts, which drew us to this hotel.

We got 2 rooms for the 8 of us. The hotel rooms were a bit small, but we made it work! It was nice that the hotel gave us conjoined rooms so the group didn't have to separate!

The resort is definitely super kid and family friendly. A pool is available and they have a cute cafeteria-style restaurant.

One of the perks of staying at a Disney hotel is the early entry to the parks. We were able to enter the parks 30 minutes before non-Disney hotel guests, which was super nice! Since we were there early, we were able to get in line on the rides that tend to get crowded later on.

Another perk is the free shuttle. We were able to shuttle to all 4 parks, and there's a shuttle available that goes to Disney Springs! The shuttles are very organized and there are separate lines to each destination. Each resort has its own shuttle, so it's nice that the shuttle does not make stops in between and takes you straight to the destination. This also saved us money so that we didn't have to spend money on Ubers.

      Overall, would recommend!

Is the theme-ing of the All Star Resorts kitschy and tacky, even by Disney standards? Yes.

Is this resort extremely busy, especially around peak seasons? Absolutely.

Have I always considered this to be one of the 'bad' Disney resorts? I have.

BUT - after the latest room renovations, and as adults, my husband and I had a wonderful time here. We stayed for one night while attending a seasonal Disney holiday party, and really picked this because it was the cheapest option that provided us easy transportation to the park.

The cast members at check-in and the gift shop were so friendly, and all the shared facilities were wonderfully clean. The Christmas decor was joyous, and the music and activities were appropriately festive.

The bus services are frequent, friendly, and a major perk of staying on Disney property. As someone who is spoiled by the Monorails and Skyliner, I often forget just how nice and convenient Disney busses are!

Our room was in the Country Fair area- which I loved, both as a country music fan, and because it's the furthest from the lobby and thus the least loud and crowded. Inside the room was clean, well-designed, sparingly themed but still felt appropriately Disney-fied.

The food options are sparing, but not bad. We only got breakfast from the Intermission cafeteria in the morning, and I mobile ordered because it was SO dang busy. I did still have to wait a while for our food, but the CMs were as kind and efficient as they could be - and the food was satisfying and the perfect end to a short vacation.

If you have- like me- previously written off the All-Star Resorts as less-than-desirable, I'd say All-Star Music is absolutely worth giving another chance. Or a first chance! It seems to be the perfect intersection of adult requirements (clean room, great bathroom, efficient services), and child preferences (big crazy theme-ing, decorations and music galore, so many cute and magical touches). We were so happily surprised!

We checked in 1/11/23 for one night. We haven't been to this resort since 2018, and the changes are minimal and great. You can now check in on the app, get your room number, and unlock your door with your phone or Magic band. You can also check out on the app, seeing all of your charges on the app. No more human interaction or paper.

When we arrived at the security gate, we gave our name & the guard checked our ID. Prior to 1/10, parking was $15 a night - it had been free the many times we stayed here, but during and after CoVid, all resorts started to charge for parking. Now the parking fees are nonexistent, effective 1/10/23.

We pulled up the map on our phone, found our building and parked. It was a short walk to our room on the second floor. This section looked new to us. Or staying in the front area so many times in years past, we didn't notice the buildings in the back (Rock, Broadway).

The room was a good size for 2 people. In addition to our queen bed, we also had a Murphy bed. That's probably why we had 8 pillows! The flat screen was on, welcoming us to our room. When we switched it to TV channels, it had a multitude of channels, especially Disney channels. Our room had a table (base of Murphy bed), 2 chairs, hooks for jackets & hats, a coffee maker, a selection of coffees and teas with creamers and sugars, a small fridge, drawers, a closet, and an iron with ironing board.

I have balance issues, so this bathroom had bars around the toilet and a seat in the walk in shower with bars on the wall. Shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap dispensers were on the wall. It had two shower heads - one on the wall and one hand held head. Hot water was good, but in the sink area, the hot side was barely warm. I liked the lighted makeup mirror (2 sides) and the nightlight built into the outlets. Bar soap, Kleenex, and a hair dryer were also provided.

We had a comfortable sleep in the bed, with only minimal noise outside. A cheer event had a tent on site so we saw an abundance of young people on the property. Some of them didn't go to bed as early as we did, and we could barely hear them outside until around 1AM.

The elevator and ice machine were around the corner from our room - very convenient. This is one of 3 budget hotels on Disney property, but it does not feel like it. We enjoyed our stay this time, as much as we had enjoyed our stays here the many times before.

We stayed 2 nights at All Star Music resort with our baby. The room was nice, nothing grand, but clean and we did like the Murphy bed that turns into a table with chairs. It was nice walking around the resort to look at the different themed areas!

We had a very disappointing experience at this location.
      1. We did not know if we passed on housekeeping they reserve the right to enter your room
      2. While my husband was napping housekeeping knocked on the door and insisted they had to check the room. They said they do this to make sure guests were ok. I could not understand the point of entering and found this disagreeable. Asked for a supervisor who insisted they had to check the room since we passed on housekeeping.
      3. A supervisor returned to the room long story short we made her uncomfortable and she called her manager. We came out to find 5 other employees along with security. I asked if we had to leave and was told they wanted to check the room. This was absurd.
      4. Manager came through the room and said it was fine and we didn't have to leave. But we had made the supervisor uncomfortable.
      5. This made me extremely incomfortabke I had never experienced something so horrifying especially at a Disney property. We decided we would not be staying this had caused a lot of stress.
      6. We went to the desk and the manager was there he we explained we would leave in the morning earlier than our reservation. He said as long as we checked out by 11 it would be no problem.
      7. Following morning we tried to check out online but it didn't work. We went to the front desk and the woman told us we were already checked out. We asked for a printed receipt. It still showed a charge for that night. She said it would come off later.
      8. It did not come off later we were charged. We got notified the next morning we were checked out that day. So check out at the desk didn't happen. We had to call and be questioned. That person went to see if we had accessed the room with our key.

This was crazy we were finally credited. The whole experience was shocking. We will not stay here anytime soon or likely again. We come to Orlando once a month or so. I've never been treated so horribly and hope this is not normal.

You were definitely paying for the Disney main while you're here. I will not stay at this resort again. You get off of your bus and you have a very long walk to your rooms and I don't exaggerate too much when I say a long walk, Hollyn bags and kids it's a journey I mean it's a good 15 minute walk carrying all your stuff from where you get dropped off at go to your room. And then when you go to your room it's expensive course because it's Disney and your room is tiny. Tiny does not probably even describe it until you're there. The bed is small. I didn't know where our other bed was it happened to be inside the wall hidden behind the table. Luckily we had that the shower was not good water pressure not good just overall you were paying for the Disney name and I will get a Marriott for much cheaper and sleep much better.

First of all, let me start by saying that as a Disney fan I've stayed in almost every hotel in the property and have avoided All stars like the plague, i stayed here in 2015 and was very disappointed. However, after covid Disney has taken the step to renovate every All stars resorts and that has made all the difference. This is my Second time staying at this hotel and I would give more stars if I could.

As mentioned every room has been renovated and they are beautiful and very comfortable. Love the Murphy bed which can be folded and provide more space. The bathroom is pristine and so clean and modern, plus a small fridge and coffee are provided just want I need to get through a busy day at the park.

In line with Disney hotels, the resort has plenty of activities for children to enjoy. Daily movies at the pool, s'mores at the camp fire and pool side activities. Did I say they have an insane arcade area? Gigantic pac man and space invaders game for when it's raining.

The food court has decent food offered: salad, pasta, pizza, burgers and a couple of hot meals to choose from. I had the pot roast with mashed potatoes and green beans, it was a decent size and priced reasonably.

Finally the staff at the hotel are rock starts, my room was kept clean, got new towels on the days of service. The pool and cafeteria area are always spotless and Pool towels are always available. Love the theming of the resort, is very Disney.

This hotel is not fancy by any means, but solid. If you need a place to crash with Disney transport included, I will definitely recommend this place. I know my family enjoys it as much a deluxe resort.

Disneys all star music resort as the name suggests is a Disney world resort with a music theme.

My family and I stayed at the music all star resort in a recent stay for our daughters cheer competition. They were one of the partnering Disney resorts and this was were we was chosen to stay when booking for a Disney resort partnered with the varsity competition.

The resort is massive and has a very cool but dates looking setup and design. Unfortunately for us our hotel roll for whatever reason was all the way in the back of the resort and about a legit 5-7 minute walk from the hotel front where the canteen, gift shop and bus shuttles to the parks and airports were located. So that made for some long and stressful journeys with our family of 7. Especially when checking in and out with our luggage.

The rooms are insanely tiny. We had to split into two rooms because max capacity is 5 and we honestly could of split into 3 rooms. You walk in and have a queen sized bed and Tv. Beside the entrance is a folding bed that is queen sized that folds up into the wall. When that is out moving around and space is complete gone. The rooms did feature a decent sized bathroom and the water remained hot. So that was nice.

Situated between the two beds was tvs that features only Disney owned channels. No smart TVs. For the Price you pay you would think they would have at least the Disney plus app.

The facility itself was very nice and more spacious. Featuring two nice and large swimming pools, an on-site arcade, gift shop and a canteen with great food options and choices.

The resort had pretty much a cool event every night such as Disney under the stars movie theme and some
You could pay extra for like s'more making.

Overall it served its purpose. Offered us shuttle between our daughters competition site on Disney property, Disney springs and the big 4 Disney parks. I wish the rooms were bigger. For the price paid you could rent a massive condo/cabin/house most other places and have more space.
