      My work purchased this computer for me in January and paid $636 for it. We had no one to transfer the data for a few weeks so the computer sat. Then COVID happened and we had to start working from home mid March and I had to continue to use my laptop to work from home. We finally realized that COVID wasn't going away and all the software on my laptop was hindering my work since it's older versions so I finally got my desktop updated so I could use it and continue working from home. So I literally just started using this computer at the end of May. Last week (last week of July) I started having trouble with it shutting off on its own. It finally completely cut off and I had to take it in. They told me it was the main board that had gone out and replaced it. I picked it up on a Thursday evening. I used it Friday and then it was off for most of the weekend because it's my "work" computer. Monday I turned it on to work from it again and the same thing happened. When I took it in they acted surprised. Two days later they tell me that it's ready and they had to replace the exact same parts. They told they suggested I plug it in a surge protector or I would continue to have this problem. Ummmm, yes it was plugged into a surge protector all 3 days I had it back and it's in the middle of August and we have had no rain! We've had no surges and the other 3 desktops and 2 laptops in my house are fine. My other issue is that during this COVID time their door says they only allow 3 people in yet while I was in there they had 6 customers in there. I had stepped aside to call my boss and see if they took the hard drive out and put it into another computer. Oils we go ahead and buy that so I could work. In doin so I walked to a back corner and lifted my mask enough so my boss oils understand what I was saying. They jumped me for not keeping my mask down even though I had done it in what I felt was a respectable and safe way. Yet at the time they had 6 customers in the store. When I questioned them they said the limit was 5 and that one was leaving. I told them no, your door says 3! They treat you like you are highly infected yet they don't sanitize themselves in front of you to ensure you they aren't infected. Needless to say, my experience has not been pleasant and the only reason I am continuing to use them is because the computer is under warranty. I fully expect that in 3 days I will have the same problem. If so I will take it to their other location. And see if they are any better. If I could give these people negative stars I would. Just a little additional feedback....if something is under warranty they should ensure you that they are doing everything they can to make your repair a priority especially during this time where we are all connected at the hip to our computers. Also, when their warranty work fails in three days they should not insinuate it's something the customer did wrong. I will NEVER personally use this company.

      Went into Discount Electronics this morning because I could not get my favorite game to play. I have to admit I felt a little foolish about it, but the guys were great! Armando spent a long time fiddling with it (I am not savvy enough to detail how), but he kept at it when the first couple things did not work and eventually succeeded. I love this place. It is so nice for people like me who are technologically challenged to have a place to go where you are not looked down upon. I am a customer for life!!!

      The guys inside were super helpful and friendly. I needed help with cables to connect my different monitors together and I got it. What stuck with me was their customer service. Most places have this negative attitude when they actually have to do work at work. These guys were genuinely happy to help their customers and to me, that was a breath of fresh air!

      My hard drive crashed on my laptop. I took it in to Discount Electronics in Round Rock. Justin quickly and professionally troubleshot my problem. The solutions he offered were fairly priced and what I needed. He fixed my computer in a very timely manmer and was a pleasure to work with. The whole experience was painless, and I am vey satisfied.

      I had two great experiences at Discount Electronics in Round Rock. Jozef was very helpful over the phone and then again when I showed up in the store. He provided me with everything I needed. After further evaluation and knowing about some new offers, we decided to upgrade 2 systems. I returned again and Mark was available to assist me with sorting out all the different components I needed to make the upgrade a success. I am thankful for both Jozef and Marks knowledge and assistance. I highly recommend this place.

      I was stressing over a charging issue on my iPad and notebook. AT&T said I was out of warranty. I walked into this store and within 5 minutes of doing some logical testing that they claimed Sri do at AT&T - Steel the man with the plan found the fix. I was told I needed to spend $400 to repair my iPad. Steel charged me $10 for the proper cord replacement.

      That's just doing honest work. I've been customer for over a decade and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

      My wife bought a laptop from here last week and she loves it too!

      They don't honor what they advertise. BEWARE. It is till on their website, 3 interest free payments. They don't do this anymore after I ordered & again they will not remove this statement from website. Also, once order placed they want 15% restocking fee for cancel order & refund is store credit only. If they lie about this I can't trust what they say about warranty, product, or? BEWARE!
