This may have been one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with in my life. I am not a complainer and this is the first yelp review that I have ever written. They stole an amp of mine and left town. It was to be sold on consignment and they took it and left, this is THE BEGINNING OF THE TROUBLE. I bought a vintage fender amp from them back in 2013 and would have to bring it back in probably 5 times to get things fixed which they charged me for even though they sold me A NON FUNCTIONING PRODUCT. Their repairs never stayed, they were always hacked and they always sold me broken and not working equipment. I pray they are not still around ripping people off. I heard a rumor that they move town to town ripping people off. Do yourself a favor and go to a REAL GUITAR SHOP and a REAL BUSINESS.

I want to thank the guys at Dirty Town Amps! The very quickly got my vintage Masco MU-17 in and rebuilt it in only 2days. The amp sounds great. They were fast and reliable. I had a small problem with it, not related to their work. I took it back and they fixed it while I waited. Good home town service and their tech knows what he is doing and is a complete professional. Don't think twice about their service, they are fast, affordable, and friendly.

The repair and sales staff here are first rate.
Dennis Bielinski is an absolute prince of a guy besides being very professional.
I highly recommend Dirty Town Guitars for amp repairs and guitar set up on Cleveland's west side.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John W.Lakewood, OH04Oct 6, 2015
Brought my Mesa Lonestar in for repair a while ago, not only did they take the time to diagnose and fix my amp problem, they also took the time to sit with me for a while and help me dial in my tone better. Quick turn around and friendly service.

Brought a couple of guitars in for some work. They did some things good but a couple of other things really stupidly. They don't exactly have good communication skills either. The guy working on them called me back after almost two weeks of calling and not hearing from them only to tell me I didn't know how to change my strings correctly. I may not be a tech/luthier but I know how to change my damn strings and other basic stuff. It was funny cause when I got my guitars back, a couple of the strings on one of the gutiars were wrapped around the pegs backwards...yea... After two weeks and a 60 mile round trip the job cost $200 where Guitar Center would have done the same thing for $75. Overpriced and not worth it. I really wanted to like this place too, it's a shame. Go somewhere else unless you want to overspend on mediocre work...

Brought my amp in cause it was cutting out, thought it was a minor issue. The amp tech went ahead and did $200 worth of work without ever authorizing any of it with me. Wasn't expecting a major overhaul of tubes, etc. Most places call you and let you know what's wrong and give you an estimate. Not this guy. To be fair, I've had their owner do work on my guitar and I'm pretty sure he called and let me know what was up before he did anything. Anyway, my amp does sound much better now and they seemed to have done a good job. Just would've liked the courtesy of a call, just like EVERY OTHER SHOP DOES. It's the same as getting your repaired. They call and tell you what's wrong and give you an estimate before they start the repair.

Poor/no communication. Dropped off a bass w the owner . said he would get back to me the next day. I had just had an amp fuse replaced for $50 the day before. Seemed to be nice guys. Week later, no call, stopped in . said somebody would call. This went on for three more weeks. Finally called and spoke to the guy I dropped it off with. He said he was too busy to call me and I could come and pick it up. Too busy to call a paying customer in your neighborhood after you said you would? Congratulations on your success. He might do good work, he couldn't prove it to me.
