Question:
I would like to take my son to Dino world can anyone tell me how are their prices on tickets and can u bring snacks inside?
Answer:
Prices are very reasonable - adults are $17, kids are $12 and kids 2 and under are free. You are encouraged to bring snacks/lunch as there are no restaurants or snack shops. There are a few vending machines by the picnic tables, but other than that… Read more

What age group would you recommend ? We have 2yr old and 13 yr old boys.
Answer:
Baby to adult. My 11 year old nephew asked to go with us last time. My husband really enjoyed the museum area and my mom likes all the beautiful flowers. I think my kids were 2 and 15 when we went the first time.

3/4/2019Great place for kids it's great for adults with imagination. If you think that you are looking for animation, you won't find it. Only five dinosaurs move . Very informative about the dinosaurs. Your kids will enjoy and they have a playground. They should have a place in the middle to buy something to drink because it's a lot of walking. I went with my wife only and we enjoyed it.

7/10/20171 check-inNot too big but not too small of a place. We went and did everything, and were done in about two and a half hours. It's definitely not an all day experience. There are walking paths with dinosaurs, a mammoth area, a dig area, a gem search area, playground, education cave, and several shaded areas with picnic tables. The lush landscaping, running wild with dinosaurs, will make you feel as if you're really with dinosaurs, or in the Jurassic Park movie. Dino lovers will love this place. My son was thrilled. There is a large gift shop with tons of iems for purchase, from jewelry to toys.
The staff was friendly, the restrooms were okay considering they were like park/camping restrooms. There was a lot of shade thanks to all the trees but there were also a lot of bugs. After a while I was tired of swating bugs and ready to head out. - Laura N.Pentwater, MI5 friends19 reviews15 photos
1/16/2019We were super impressed by this park!
From the road, we have decided to skip the visit for years. We are glad we chose to stop!
The grounds were immaculate and the dinosaur sculptures were in eerily relevant landscaping. The sculptures were well kept, freshly painted, and the signage was very informative. Awesome interactive digs and the gemstone souvenir were both great.
Per recommendation from the website, we packed a picnic lunch and spent the day. The kids (age 4 and 6) loved the Dino's, the playground, and very much appreciated the enthusiastic staff (Steve-o and I believe Kathleen?).
We will be back! - Alan W.Southeast Orlando, Orlando, FL203 friends4 reviews

12/30/2018I was not impressed with this place for the price I paid.
I took my 4 year old nephew for his birthday and paid almost $40 for just the two of us.
He likes the digging for fossils and mining gems so that was cool.
Other than that he was bored. The dinosaur statues were not that great and it was wayyy over priced for what you get. At least make the adults cheaper since we are just walking around.
I will not be recommending this place to anyone. - Smitha S.Cypress Gardens, FL0 friends46 reviews
1/13/2019This is a fantastic place to bring your kids and friendly pups. The grounds are very clean and well manicured. The bathrooms are spotless. Staff is friendly and helpful; even the gift shop is quite nice. No food on the grounds, but plenty of shaded picnic areas.
We liked it enough that an annual pass is likely in our future. - Joshua M.Orlando, FL45 friends19 reviews2 photos
4/29/2018If you like wasting $16 and going on a 15 minute minute walk around the entire park to see old, dusty, spider covered styrofoam dinosaurs, come to Dinosaur World. If you've ever gone to a run down pop up Carnival than you'll get more or less get the same vibes from this place.
There are a handful of digging attractions your kids might enjoy (digging in small sand pits mostly). It feels more like a nature trail with cheap dinosaur statues thrown in. But maybe just take them to a local park and buy them $16 worth of dinosaur toys instead. There is basically nothing here, no rides, no food, no real entertainment what's so ever.
This seems like a great idea that was executed terribly with the least amount of effort you'll ever see. Seriously, just save your money. - Nataly G.Miami, FL45 friends66 reviews110 photos
9/28/2019The park is clean, staff is nice. Their is really not much to do. The park has a play ground and a gem, fossil dig. That's about it. All you do is walk around the park and look at the big dinosaurs. Their is also a pond to feed the fish, not a lot of fish by the way. You also have to take your own food. All you can buy are drinks. The machine was out of order by the way. The gift shop is very nice, the first thing you see when you walk in. The museum was ok not interesting at all. Kids had fun overall since they are small.

4/24/2019Updated reviewAttraction, Plant City, FL. I admittedly did not expect a walk-through attraction of this caliber and stopped by expecting to be back on the road within an hour. We instead stayed for various hours. It's for little kids, not-so-little kids, teens, young adults as well as us old codgers. It's a museum, it's hands-on learning, it's educational, the paleontologists that offer workshops are both funny and informative, it's fun! There are hundreds of realistic dinosaurs from different eras, even more recent Mastodons. Dinosaur World (along I-4 midway between Orlando and Tampa) is more than worth your while.

7/6/2019My family is on vacation from MD, after going to the big theme parks we wanted to do something easy on our last day. My son loves dinosaurs and this was perfect for him.

Visited on 2/18/17 around 10AM. You enter and pay admission in the gift shop and then head out to the park to see the dinosaurs. Wander among hundreds of life-size dinosaurs in a natural setting with nice trails. They have neat "shows" every few hours which are really just little mini tours.
There is no food to be had in the park but you can bring your own which I thought was cool. They'll even let you bring in coolers! This would be a neat place for a birthday party since they have tons of covered picnic areas and you can even bring your dog as long as you keep him on a leash.
The best part about the park to me was the foilage! The enormous tropical plants, undergrowth, and swampy areas are perfect for a dinosaur display. I felt like I was in the movie Jurassic Park! The trails were kept up nicely and you can see the whole park in about an hour...I'm guessing it's about a half a mile loop but I don't know.
The playground was a big hit with my son. They have an area for big kids and an area for smaller kiddos which I appreciated. There is traditional playground equipment as well as neat dinosaur things to play on like a giant dinosaur skeleton and a dinosaur slide.
Honestly I think the $16.95 price tag is too steep to just have the privilege of walking around and looking at dinosaur statues. They don't move or anything and some of them are pretty old and look hokey. You have to pay extra to do anything fun like the dino dig or the gem mine...for the price I really think they could throw those two things in for free...but that's just my opinion. Opinions are like arseholes...everybody's got one.
I don't think I'd go back but it was worth a trip and pretty neat. - Linda M.Boca Raton, FL20 friends2 reviews6 photos
1/19/2019Passing by & decided to go in. Good park, kept clean. Our 4 yr old loved it. A couple attractions were closed but was a Friday afternoon. No crows so that was a plus. Definitely recommend for a quick stop if in the area.

4/19/2019Great place for little children to enjoy themselves. There are bathrooms in convenient areas and picnic areas to rest and have a snack with the kids. Bring your snacks and drinks. It's worth getting the exploration ticket vs the general. We really enjoyed ourselves.

8/11/2019Super cute space for your Dino obsessed kid! This place was very clean, staff was very helpful. For 4 kids and 2 adults it cost us $100 to get in. To tour the whole place is around 4,000 steps round trip so it's no small park. My 4 and 5 year olds enjoyed the interactive fossil search, bone dig, and gem mining. No food so bring your own snacks. Great way to break up a road trip.

5/19/2019Great for little to have fun and learn about these amazing creatures. I love the fossil dig. The searching for different gems is so much fun for all ages.

1/27/2018Great morning or afternoon trip for two-ten year olds! The whole park can easily be done within three hours, we spent about two hours here but didn't do some of the attractions. The weather was perfect the day we went but there is very little shade so during the summer I imagine it would be brutal! There are only a handful of vending machines so bring your own lunch or plan to eat before or after the trip.
Don't ever pay full price for admission, there are always coupons out and about. I've seen multiple in brochure stands or using a reciprocal program.
Be sure to go in with the right expectations, there are no rides and the dinosaurs don't move or anything. Some reviews are negative but I think it's worth the trip especially if your little ones like dinosaurs at all. - Anthony P.Davenport, FL610 friends123 reviews307 photos
3/26/2019Very neat exhibit! It's an outdoor walk through style exhibit! I love all the dinosaur replicas! Great place to visit but the better part? THEYRE DOG FRIENDLY WOO. They have a few water stations for your fur baby if they get thirsty. Make sure to bring mosquito spray though because they're killer there during the summer. Good day trip to relax and just take a stroll.

8/26/2018Horrible, there are no dinosaurs that move...there are no sound effects...no music ... nothing it's walking and staring at statues as you here the sound of the cars off I 75... some dinosaurs are even headless/broken as the one I posted the picture of. Not worth it at all!!

12/14/2017Like anyone who has ever drove past this place on I-4 I've always wanted to go. I was SO excited when my new gf said that SHE finally wants to knock this off her list as well! We did NOT prepare by looking at reviews or pictures and we just SHOWED up! :)
A "cave tour" had just started when we arrived and the sweet girl at the counter that gave us our wristbands gave us a map and told us that if we hurry we can catch most of the cave tour, whatever that is...
We missed about the first minute of the cave tour but could see a staff member in the cave already speaking to guests. ...enter Stevo! So Stevo was inside the cave talking to other guests and he went out of his way to wave us into the cave and welcome us so that we could see the rest of his presentation!
Stevo was super happy and spoke loudly and clear and seemed like he was having fun interacting with the guests :) He also noticed other guests arrive after we arrived and he waved them in and included them into the cave as well so that they could experience the show. After his presentation (which was funny and awesome; we laughed and learned new stuff!) he said he'd be happy to answer more questions! My GF asked a few T-Rex questions (such a beginner dino enthusiast am I right?) and Stevo pulled up some reference material and shared with us and answered more questions from the other guests as my GF and I continued walking around the park.
We fed the Koi fish which were really cool to watch even though the koi were kinda small.
We took lots of pictures as we walked around the park and we also stopped in the "museum" building before we left which has a bunch of glass displays of Fossils as well as a small animatronics area :)
We are both THRILLED that we finally took the time to visit instead of driving past today, and if Stevo is working when you visit that you're gonna have a blast ;)
