Desperado's BBQ

Fresh out of the crockpot brisket that may have been of merit days ago. It was dripping with god knows what juice as it was pulled out with tongs. Paid a premium of $10 for a sandwich, no drink, no side, only a small tip to the woman at the counter- nothing else. It was fit for a cafeteria. Off-putting service and complete disappointment. Two stars instead of one due to the roll being pretty darn good. I want my time and money back.

Woodstock is pretty small however, in this small town there's a pretty tasty BBQ place :) went here for lunch. The owners were friendly and take pride in their food. The price was affordable and you get quite a bit of food. The BBQ beans tasted really good. The brisket sandwich was nice and tender. You can add your own sauce at the table. They cook the BBQ on a pit outside. Over all good price great lunch.

This is truly the best barbecue I have ever had! Prices are reasonable. They do not offer fountain drinks, just drinks from the cooler. Limited seating inside but outside seating is available.

Amazing little restaurant! My husband and I stayed in Woodstock after hiking in Shenandoah. We drove into town to find food, but was surprised at the lack of restaurants. I saw this place and immediately pulled in. Being from the South, I love good BBQ, especially when it comes from a small place like this. The 1/2 chicken was amazing, the BBQ sauce was some of the best, and the baked beans were amazing. The potato salad had too many onions for me, but still so good. It was very fast service and also cheap. Great place!!!

Best brisket outside of Texas! I guarantee it!

The roll that the brisket sandwich is made with is delicious. I was glad to see that they made my sandwich the way I would -- plenty of meat.

Various BBQ sauces are finger licking good.

Service is fast and super friendly.

Place is clean inside and out. Outdoor seating is enjoyable with nicely shaded picnic tables.

I would definitely recommend this place for brisket if you're hankering for bbq!

Best BBQ around and won't ever go to any other place, other than here! Great food, best brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. Sides are amazing and all for a great price as well! I would highly recommended it to anyone visiting or in town.

Fattiest beef brisket we have ever had. One half pure fat, one quarter edible meat and one quarter mixed that the dog liked. Will not be back.

A+ meats- the brisket and pulled pork are phenomenal! Sides (beans and mac and cheese) weren't good. Go for the meat!
