Desert Air Services, Inc. is the company that provides FBO/Fuel services at Blythe Airport.

It has been my experience that most people involved in personal aviation are good upstanding folks. Allen Stone, the airport manager, is definitely one of these honest people.

After a long, stressful, frustrating, and hot day of flying, we finally made our way into Blythe Airport for additional fuel and to take a breather.

Somehow I left my wallet there, and it took me almost a day to realize it.

When I called he stated he had it and was waiting for me to call. He offered to mail it to me and did so that day or the next, as I had it within 2 days of our conversation. Everything was exactly how it was left. What a relief.

They were great people to work with while getting fuel, they are honest folk to boot. Thank you again Allen.

Great service. The gas guy even asked me on the UNICOM / CTAF if I needed fuel after I announced my inbound to land. Nice place to rest in the desert.
