FIND ANOTHER DENTIST!
My daughter and I had a terrible experience here.
My daughter goes in for a routine cleaning and the nurse is extremely rude to her about the care to her teeth. Saying she needs all these procedures before even seeing the dentist. She's in tears before she even sees the dentist. What's the point of scaring someone out of going to the dentist.
My experience, I went for a cleaning and left with an infection in my gums. They were extremely harsh with my sensitive teeth.
They never returned my calls, I had to physically show up to get any solution to the issue they caused. Dr Clifford gave advice that led to more pain. I couldn't go back
Save your time and money from these people. I would give 0 stars if I can. They will make you worseHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ivan R.Bayonne, NJ5498Jul 5, 2017
So i have only had 1 Dentist prior to this place and it was my same dentist from early childhood and he was cordial but all about his treatment and work. At this place the dentist i saw was too talkative and over friendly. I mean come on, i see you 2 times a year and no one enjoys going to the dentist....why do you need to converse so much. On another note, they told me i needed gum work and told me how much all the work would cost with my insurance....total rip off.
Lastly, today i called to cancel an appointment for the next day because yesterday was a holiday and the girl laughed at me over the phone. Very unprofessional. Done with this place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - John L.Paterson, NJ01Nov 11, 2020
First of I still go to this place because Eddie is the best. Front desk are ghetto and rude. They make you feel like you're bothering them when dealing with them. You ask questions and they answer with attitudes. I waited at the front desk while one of the girls spoke about her relationship on cell phone. Front desk needs a course on customer service. They are the face of the business.

My daughters and I have been patient at this office for a few years. We can thank Dr. Christina Damjanovski for our beautiful smiles :)

I have to agree with some of the reviewers. Dental Associates have mastered the art of insurance rip-off. I was having some pre-work done, that was to lead to dental implants after they removed molars on both sides of my lower row of teeth, leaving huge gaps. After several visits that extended for almost a year, when it came time to start the prep work for the implants, I had to change my insurance due to Medicare. They knew this was coming, but still chose to drag out the process so that when it was time to start the implant process, my insurance had changed. They do not support my new insurance. During my last visit with them, after many many years of being their loyal customer, they offered no advice or references. They didn't even say goodbye and thanks for being our customer for so long. They just wrote me off.

I highly recommend dr. Weinstein. He explains things very clearly and is honest in his approach with you. If you need extensive work, he will know and recommend a procedure. the staff is great and know their craft

I agree with the reviewer earlier. This is worse dental place anyone can imagine. I had to wait for more than 15 mins after my appointment time before the dentist assistant called me and she started working on the cleaning etc. She was pretty professional and nice. After cleaning and X-Rays I was shifted to an open area where doctor was supposed to examine me.
The whole examine area is an open space with several patients around you and some of the patients are examined in the hallway. The place is not clean and worse thing the doctor spent just couple of minutes and said everything is OK. He told me to come after a week or so because they needed to order some material to fill in one small cavity.
I fixed appointment, took couple of hours off from the job (I work in the city), came back home and drove to the office. I was late due to traffic in Jersey City and Bayonne. Called them and told that I would be late. When I showed after 20 mins after my appointment, I was told to go back home. I understand I was late but there was a valid reason but the office staff was not ready to listen. I'll never go to this place again.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Heather H.Bayonne, NJ4341Jan 22, 2016
I don't know where to begin, unfortunately having braces was a terrible experience due to this place. They went through about 5 different orthodontists who all worked on me where the other left off. My teeth are now paying the price. After getting my braces off and I returned for a cleaning with the dentist who is located downstairs. I walked in with my teeth feeling smooth, it was only supposed to be a cleaning. He did absolutely nothing other than take an instrument and make ridges in one of my front two teeth. Now it looks and feels like I literally have a maze in that one tooth. I left so upset I will never recommend this place to anyone nor return. Ever. Let this be a warning to whoever is thinking about going.

Dental Associates of Bayonne helped my out when I had a dental emergency. After growing tired of getting no relief and the run around from my regular dentist and being in unbearable pain, I called around to several dentists near my workplace. Dental Associates took my insurance and was able to get me in for an emergency appointment the same day. After some x-rays, the doctor examined me and listened very carefully to what my concerns were. At the time I was in horrible pain from an infection, but I wasn't swollen and the x-ray was not showing any issues with the tooth. I ended up having to go for a root canal, but at the time I was now clearly swollen and had to wait for an antibiotic to kick in. The next day I had to go to a local oral surgeon to have the abscess drained. A week later, I had the root canal completed. As far as waiting times, I would say they are no better or worse than any other dental office I have visited. As far as the office being "dirty" I completely disagree. It is not fancy, but it is definitely NOT dirty.
