Delta Valley Health Club

A very impressive, large gym with lots of services, classes and great equipment. I was there for a special event and actually live 2 hours away, but if I lived close enough, id join in a heartbeat.

I've been a member since we moved to Brentwood...I wouldn't go anywhere else, they have steam room, sauna and towels.

This gym is going downhill since the pandemic. About 80% of the TVs don't work since pre-pandemic. They have tape holding down the floors in some areas. They have a major roof leak in women locker-room. Their better equipment is in need of maintenance and repair, but they purchased new equipment that isn't used often. They have gone woke and promote men to use women's areas. They use one of the class studios as a place to store office stuff instead of using it as a classroom and they hold classes in the extended gym area. They often don't run the air conditioner and let it get toasty. This is defiantly not the gym it used to be. Although, they have some amazing staff (the ladies at front desk). Hopefully they get some good management/leadership to move back in the right direction.

I have been coming here for years and the staff are amazing. All the equipment stays clean, they have almost everything you can think of at Delta Valley. The Daycare is amazing for the kids. Everyone's very friendly.

I had reached out because my account had been charged $500 after I had cancelled my account. I was told that they never received anything in writing but the person who went in was never told that I needed to submit anything. Not that they have received a written notice I am still being charged for another month and they again are trying to charge my account. When I called they stated that the account is cancelled 30 days after receiving the notice which I was not told. Honestly I feel like the should refund the money and all charges that came about due to there miscommunication and less than great customer service. When I called to complain I asked for email communication and they said that someone would call me and I'm still waiting for that call. While they are still trying to charge my card for Novembers dues.

I guess the review will depend on what location you go to. The Brentwood location is immaculate. Huge! So many rooms and options when it comes to equipment and what they offer. 10/10 The discovery bay location? Honestly? Looks/feels like it's just a storage unit for old equipment. I only come to the disco location for convenience...and I still pay the same amount as people who only go to the Brentwood gym. if you ask me it's a rip off. I love the front desk workers always super nice and welcoming. But if I'm being honest the price you pay is NOT worth it unless you go to the Brentwood location. The disco hours , and equipment? 2/10.
I've asked in the past if they offer different payment methods depending on what gym you go to, unfortunately they don't.
I was so excited they got "new equipment".... walked into the gym so disappointed. I actually laughed out loud. It's so cluttered and unorganized looking with a bunch of repeat equipment.

I just enrolled my son in swim lessons here. The staff was very friendly and patient with me. The pool and room it's in is super warm which is not always the case. His teacher was nice, overall great experience! Highly recommend if lessons are needed.

They clearly don't care anymore...Diamond Hills, In-Shape, Planet Fitness, or 24 hour, may be a better choices at this point in the immediate area.

The staff is great both for swimming instruction and if you have your child's party at the faculty. They are friendly and great swim teachers. Very family oriented.

This is a gym and it's amazing! They have classes and rooms for every workout imaginable. You can also get childcare at a reasonable price so you can workout for 2 hours while your kid is cared for. You can also do the swim classes for your littles or just enjoy their lap pool in between classes. Either way you cut it it has many ways to work on physical health and/or giving you a break from the kiddo lol. Everyone is super friendly and there's so many great things about this gym essentially it's a very nice and fancy ymca

Jesus is the go-to trainer at this facility. He's knowledgeable and fun to work with. I'm watching my transformation as I watch my health indicators improve as well. My resting heart rate now varies between 48-54 bpm. My high blood pressure is gone. I am no longer pre-diabetic. I'm no longer "fluffy." If you are ever in the gym and wondering if he's working, listen for the laughter. He makes us laugh through the workouts. They go by so fast, you hate to see them end. My abs are sore almost daily, my ABS! That's fantastic.
