Dean's Service

Dean's Service was quick to come out, however, the tech recommended replacing a 7 year old AC compressor and coil at the cost of $4,500. I sought a second opinion and had another company come out. The second company repaired my issue for only $400.

I also called around and found that Dean's proposal to replace the system was about $1,000 over others. As with most issues, seek many opinions!

These guys were pros. They came out on time, with a 30 min heads up and got right to work. Angelo and Justin were super friendly, kept me informed through out the process and even walked me out and detailed explained what was happening. No smoke and mirrors, no run around, a fair price and friendly service. Thanks to dean's my my house is Chillin! (You see what I did there?)

I was beyond impressed with the timeliness and professionalism of this company. I requested a quote on Yelp on a Sunday during the winter warning because my heat stopped working. I sent the message in the morning an within 30 minutes I had a message back and within 45 minutes I had scheduled a service for two hours from that moment. On a Sunday! Sure enough, Ben cane out and not only took care of it right away but also let me know of maintenance work I needed without being pushy or seeming like he was pushing more services I didn't need. I was beyond impressed and pleased with the work. I'll be calling back for any HVAC needs in the future!

Anyone who has hired a contractor before knows how challenging it can be. Dean's did an awesome job and truly raises the bar of professionalism and service.

As a notoriously difficult to please customer, Ben, Dean's Service representative went above and beyond my expectations.

A clogged tunnel resulted in a huge loss of air flow to the second floor, the hottest floor in the home, and my roommates were not happy. 30mins after Ben cleaned the duct, adjusted some piece of metal, and installed a washable (never has to be replaced!) air filter, my home feels MUCH cooler throughout.

Post renovation, I'm bringing Ben back to thoroughly clean the furnace and ducts. Really couldn't be happier with the service and the price.

Had a very large job involving multiple split A/C units and I found Dean's staff to be very professional and reliable. There was an initial issue with the installation and they were able to promptly resolve it. Their prices are competitive and they're very flexible with their appointments.

I am certainly recommending them to my friends in the Philly area as I trust them with the big projects and will see them in the future as they come out for the yearly services.

Okay. I have to say. I do not know where to start but let me itemize the service for you so you can keep up.

1. When i send out a request for quotes, I got timely responses. I had a lot of questions and they happily answered. On top of that they made arrangements to be at my place early the next morning (earlier than typical of businesses) because of my wonky schedule which i appreciated.

2. The Technician was as nice as they get! My dog fell in love with him immediately and would not let him out of his sight. He took the time to go around the house and tell me what needs to be done and what can wait. He explained things to keep an eye on for the long term and gave me a quote for things he recommends doing without applying any sales pressure.

3. He notices rodent poop in some ducts and vacuumed them out. He sprayed a gallon of organic disinfectant and did not charge me for it. All work was completed in less than the estimated time.

If I had to review in one sentence (A little too late now). He cleaned my HVAC vent like he was cleaning one at his own house; very thorough and without shortcuts.

I appreciate and would use their service over again.

These guys are awesome. Came out last week within 12 hours of us contacting them on yelp, fixed our AC unit and explained in detail the charges for the service and parts. Fast forward a week later, there was an issue with that same unit - came out literally within 2 hours of calling them (late on a Friday evening mind you) and fixed it within 20 min with no charge. The issue may or may not have been related to the work done (no way to know) but either way, the fact that they were extremely polite (both in person and on the phone), ensured that we were taken care of with the unit they worked on, priced reasonably, sent a very knowledgeable technician, and were very quick to respond, I'd recommend them to anyone.

Had great service from Justin and Keyon for duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. They were considerate with my infant son sleeping in the house. Very good job. Would recommend.

Jason K and James were fantastic! In the dead of summer they came out to my (hot) house, diagnosed the problem with my air conditioning in minutes, and prescribed the fix.

Anyone can get a first time customer, but people like Jason and James are why I am a REPEAT customer of Deans Service.
