DC Vehicle Inspection Station

Came around 9am on a Wednesday morning to get an emissions test. Was in and out in about 10 minutes. Super quick and efficient. Friendly staff for the most part.

I went Tuesday around 9am- it was basically empty

They blew out my onboard computer chip. It passed and then started giving multiple errors. There's no way 4 major systems failed at the same time right after it passed.

I went around 11:30am on a Wednesday and the lines were a little long, but I was in and out in less than 10 min. Plus they were very friendly.

Ok, so the key is to come on off hours on a weekday. Not always possible, but if you can do it you'll be in and out in no time!
I came on a Thursday at 11:30 am and was out in TEN MINUTES. I had been putting off a trip here and couldn't believe how efficient the whole trip was. Super friendly staff, too. If you want to come before work hours be prepared to come early to get in line. My husband got his car done a few weeks ago and got there early enough that he was third in line but by opening time there were probably 20-30 cars waiting behind him. So just plan accordingly!

Holy Moly, their service department did a complete 180! I made an appointment for 9:45 am on a Friday. I showed up 15 mins late but was in and out in under 5 minutes. Everyone was very polite and nice....sooooo different that my experiences with them for the past 10 years.

Amazing what a difference in process and moral does to customer experience. See y'all in 2 years.

If you come in during off peak hours, it will be a quick drive through experience. The gentlemen were nice and patient working with me, possibly because I was very big and pregnant but I imagine it wouldn't be much different if I weren't. I was actually at the DMV waiting in line for my turn to register my vehicle but also needed an inspection. I left the DMV, got my inspection, and went back without losing my spot in line and without having been called yet.

Went for my emissions today. Was prepared to wait for a bit but had no line! Extremely fast and easy. D'Angelo was very nice, asked how we're Doing and was clear with what we needed to do. They even scrapped the old sticker off so there wasn't any residue stuck on my windshield. I always expect the worst with any dmv type service and was pleasantly surprised and pleased with this

I went at about 10 on a Thursday.  No lines to speak of, but what was really impressive was the friendly, cheerful and efficient staff.  They turned a dreaded chore into a pleasant experience.

They are very quick and friendly enough. Literally had no problems. Definitely recommend. All you do is drive thru some greets you to tell you what lane to pull into, then they inspect you and you're done. I had no wait time!!
