DC Pro Waxing

I got threading done. She was rushed, my right eyebrow is thick and hardly threaded, and my left eyebrow is thin and wispy. It will take at least two months for the left one to grow out. Really bummed, I got them done for my 30th birthday and now I look strange. Also, done in a dirty room.

Edit: she cut my eye in 6 places, and I'm cleaning up the hairs she left now

I went here for my first Brazilian and it was a really good experience. Nilou was really great and very experienced. The different types of waxes are explained to you so you could give a preference once you tried all of them. She also gives discounts to students! I'd highly recommend it.

Nilou is great! I get all of my waxing done here, you can tell she really cares about her clients and she always goes above and beyond! She also gives a 10% discount for GW students! Definitely recommend her for all your waxing needs!

Nilou is the owner and waxer so all of the services are with her. I like coming here for Brazilians because:
1) Nilou is quick and efficient - is clearly not new to the profession
2) she has packages you can buy for lower rates
3) she is easy to book with - late hours and weekends

One thing to note is - the location is incorrect on yelp! Look her up online - she is located in Georgetown now.

AMAZING!! I have been getting Brazilian waxes for 5 years, and this was by far the best, most painless one I've ever gotten. Nilou is attentive, caring, and patient. You can tell she genuinely cares about each and every one of her clients, and makes them feel calm and comfortable. She made sure it was exactly what I wanted, and she kept the conversation going the whole time to keep me distracted (although I really do mean it when I say it was quick and painless).

I bought the two Brazilian waxes from Groupon, but it's safe to say I will be returning. Ladies - if you are in DC, Nilou is the way to go. You won't regret it.

This is located in the basement of a hair salon. Nilou was very professional and quick, and with a Groupon the pricing was very reasonable. The room is a little hot but it was over with quickly.

My experience was great! She was so knowledgeable about skin, which is important to me. I was taken back promptly after completing a form given to me by the receptionist. The waxing studio is located within the Tangle hair salon in a room separate from everyone. She explained the process and we had a great conversation during the waxing. She even had enough time to thread my face (yes I can be quite hairy lol). I have already scheduled my next appt. She gave me great recommendations on what I could get to prevent ingrown hairs after waxing. The process was quick and almost painless!

After have only been to EWC I was told to try chocolate waxing and I'll never look back. The most painless Brazilian I've ever gotten and she even used numbing spray. Nilou is also very sweet. Highly recommend!!
