Easy on and off the highway! Nice people work here- it is clean! and the heat worked, the water pressure was good even though i had to wait a bit for the water to get hot. The tv worked. Sheets and towels were clean, towels were scratchy but clean and there was only a set for one person. Bathroom was super clean, room could use some updating, stains on the chairs. Breakfast is minimal, oatmeal waffle, toast... but at least they have real half n half !!!
They ran my card by mistake the night i came in even though i was prepaid via expedia, and i caught it in the morning. The day manager was super helpful and corrected all of that and apologized for her mistake. I never heard of leaving a photo copy of my cc and drivers license and he tore that up too before i left.
It was pricey for what i got but maybe this is what inflation has done to the hotel business.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brittany J.Bedford-Stuyvesant, NY3012010Jul 12, 2018
I wish i could give this place zero or negative zero stars. Best think about this place is the convenience of getting on and off I-81. That's where it ends. Maybe the convenience of a couple good restaurants close by. This place is a freaking dump. Where the cat shits has to be more pleasant than the rooms here. Found it on Expedia. Granted this was only a pit stop and i need somewhere to sleep how bad can a Days Inn be especially by Wyndham??? Well guess what - this place is FUCKED UP.
You can fit your entire hand between the gap of the door and frame. No amenities, dirty towels etc. not to mention the place is either doubling over as a transient house or shelter or a straight hot sheets.
Just out right disgusting. I complained. They told me to call Expedia. Called Expedia and they still wouldn't refund. Granted i only paid $8 it wasn't even worth thatHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Harry G.Union City, CA116424Apr 23, 2014
Why is there never an evaluation form when you want to give a negative review to corporate HQ? This is an independently runned hotel.
I am giving this establishment a one star rating and I just checked in. The welcome reception was non existent. The woman desk clerk looked at us with a quizzical expression upon our approach to the counter. I expected a welcome, how can help you. If I did not state I had a reservation, wondered how many more seconds before she figured we were guests rather than intruders. The remainder of the check in process was just as impersonal. Did not mention about any amenities the hotel had, i.e., breakfast, although there was a sign posted with the hours of breakfast.
Reception is the face of any organization and first impressions are important.
If you want human contact, you will not find it here!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Andy F.Missoula, MT1791Jun 22, 2015
The house keeping were sweethearts but the front desk GM were horribly mean.. If you meet the GM Rebecca Wilber run for the hills.. Because she's so mean. We're normally not about writing mean reviews but this was ridiculous.. Especially when we were the only people staying at the hotel.

Thank you for posting a comment. I am glad that you found the staff so delightful. I am sorry that you felt that I was mean. I gave you an extra hour to check out, but 4 hours after checkout I had no choice but to ask one of your companions not to lay on the couch in the lobby and for everyone's items to be moved from cluttering the lobby and dining area. I had to consider all the other guests that were on property, and all the guests arriving.

Stayed here while working on the road. The gentle man at the front desk was a very nice guy. Room was nice and clean, nice bed, the shower was clean but low pressure due to water coming out both the shower head and faucet. I am suprised this has such a low rating.

I am not sure where to start, I am in town for a funeral and found this on the Wyndham app. I have stayed at several of their properties and many Days Inn and have never experienced anything like this place before. I will start with driving up, it is easy to get to from interstate 81. There are many newer and more appealing hotels in the proximity. The handicap ramp at the entrance is steep and narrow making it dangerous, I would be surprised if it is ADA compliant. Then you see the doors which stick when you try to open them but that is not as bad as the printed signs taped to the window. The one that makes you wonder what kind a place you are staying at was "we do not rent to locals". Even after this I hoped it could still be a good stay, nope. I approached the front desk and informed them I had a reservation, I must have interrupted social hour or the sewing circle, cause one gentleman behind the counter was sewing, two others were at the desk eating and the lobby had several people sitting around on their walkers in different levels of consciousness, it was reminiscent of walking into a halfway house or a really bad nursing home. The front desk clerk was curt and abrupt before even willing to speak to me she demanded my ID to ensure I was not a "local", im starting to wonder what kind of area I am in. Entering the room it was dated but appeared at least clean, basic up keep such as paint and stains on carpet and chairs was lacking. The TV only had maybe a third of the channels that were listed on the printed channel list and you needed to use the TV to drown out the conversations of the people in the next rooms. The walls were so thin you could here the person in the next room snore, I sneezed at one point and the person in the next room said "God bless you". The bathroom was so small you need to stand on the toilet to close the door, the walls there were also thin I could here the person in the next room having a gassy bowel movement. The do not disturb sign meant nothing to the staff that tried to come in very early to clean the room, I guess that was our only shot of getting the room cleaned cause we left at 1130am to go to the service and returned around 7pm to an untouched room. This stay has not only affected my opinion of Days Inn and Wyndham but may make me not stay in another one again.

Not bad if you're in a pinch. Service is friendly. REQUEST a room away from the freeway. The noise is loud.
