I worked with Jen for three months and it quite literally changed my life. Not only am I now in a job that I am excited by and feel valued in, she also helped me be more confident in day to day life.

Jen's style is completely refreshing compared to what I stereotypically think of as a "career coach". I'd tried career coaching once before and it was awful! I basically paid a lot of money feel even more self-conscious about interviewing, which was the last thing I needed.

Jen couldn't be more different - She is a great listener and creates an open honest environment. She was extremely thoughtful in crafting assignments tailored to my needs and style and helping me see important aspects of my responses that I didn't realize. She made me feel like a part of the process and was always receptive and creative when something wasn't quite working for me.

Jen is great at all the traditional stuff (identifying strengths and passions, practicing interview questions, resume, networking and negotiating). More importantly to me, she gave me the tools that helped me be more confident and thoughtful about how I communicate in the world. I would wholeheartedly encourage anyone who is looking to feel more content in their career to work with Jen!

I first started seeing Jen as a career counselor however her services were far beyond career advise, she was more of a life coach for me, and an exceptional one.

Working with Jen, she cleared many things from my life that I didn't realize needed clearing. I would feel so much fulfillment after every session that I would still be thinking about what we discussed even several days later. She has a remarkable way of taking complicating concepts and simplifying it down to something you'll understand. Your conversations can go as deep as you want them to and she will follow suit.

What I also really appreciated with Jen is she never rushed any part of our session. Even if our time was up she would make sure that there was no more remaining confusion or misunderstanding about what was discussed. She made sure every session had closure and had the patience to make sure that would happen.

In addition to providing so much clarity to me, she was a wealth of information. As we unraveled my life various suggestions on next steps (or what to do before our next session) were made and she would have great resources to follow through with. And if she didn't know the answer to something, she would find it. To Jen you're not just a number, she continues to think about you long after your session is over, and always offers to be just a phone call away if you need some additional support in between sessions.

Jen has been an amazing influence on me and this most difficult transitioning time of my life, I'm really grateful to have met her and have had the opportunity to work with her, one of the best investments I've ever made.

Jennifer is passionate and dedicated without a doubt! She has helped me with career and life coaching for the past ten years. She has been so influential in my Graduate career path, not sure where I'd be without her expertise. She has helped me secure amazing positions in healthcare including at MGH. I owe my confidence in work/ life skills to her!

Without a doubt, Jen's coaching and advisory services through Dance With Life, have helped me to identify purpose, direction, and strategy with my career search and 'life path'. I learned to appreciate the balance between my professional aspirations and life desires. I'd spent many years feeling as though I'd mis-aligned myself (with regards to employers, geographic locations, etc) and was starting to feel completely hopeless and frustrated. I knew I needed to take a new approach to shaping the life I wanted; I just didn't know what that life could look like and what approach to take, just that something needed to be uniquely different. Working with Jen, I was able to understand, with greater intuition, what would actually fulfill me and what approaches I could take to identify my aspirations and, then, actually drive those aspirations to reality. My entire perspective on the world around me has improved and my ability to cope with the various up's and down's has also skyrocketed! If you're seeking a revolutionary approach to job searching, life coaching, and figuring out your authentic and natural place in the world (work world, your personal world), this is definitely the route for you. It's a highly interactive and participatory process, and you'll feel a tremendous amount of growth, strengthening, and calmness.
