Crossroadz Towing

In my experience, tow truck companies in the Vista/Oceanside area are extremely difficult to work with.

I worked with Josh on the field, and with Vicky and Tina at dispatch. Crossroadz Towing was the only local towing company that was easy to work with, and that showed both decency and humanity.

I had a flat tire last night so I called my roadside assistant. They said Crossroadz would be there in about 2 hours, but I knew it wouldn't take that long. Sure, enough 30 minutes later, they pull up and fix my flat in about ten minutes. Thanks, Crossroadz!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scott was my tow truck driver and showed up about an hour after I made the initial request. I made sure to ask if I could ride with him, since the last driver from Roadway wouldn't let me. He was very honest and down-to-earth, so I was relieved due to some previous experiences that were unpleasant.

In any case, I arrived at the dealership safely, and it was actually my first time tipping a tow truck driver because of how he handled my situation.

Side note:
I'm glad I didn't have to deal with Roadway Auto Towing again, but I did realize that the service department at the dealership was closed on the day I intended to get my car repaired and should have carefully checked the hours for that specific department. After I asked my roadside customer service not to send another person from Roadway, Crossroadz was reassigned to me.

Josh with Crossroadz Towing was awesome! Very personable, helpful, and passionate about what he does. My work van had broken down, so I contacted my insurance company for roadside assistance. Shortly after being assigned a tow truck, I received a phone call from Josh, who informed me of his ETA. He was prompt and communicative, and I would highly recommend. Definitely worth it!

My car wouldn't start yesterday evening. Had the neighbor come over to give it a jump, but after he tried a couple times, my car wouldn't start-- the engine wasn't turning over. Just dead. Thought it might be the alternator, but we're no experts, so I called to arrange a tow to the garage the next morning.

Scott called when he was about 10 minutes out to give me a heads-up... great customer service, friendly and understanding. When Scott got to my house, he asked if we tried a jump and when I said yes, he asked if the other vehicle was a new car. Scott is a man who knows his stuff. My neighbor has a brand new truck. What we didn't know when we tried to jump my car the night before was that newer vehicles can't always charge older ones. Who knew?? Scott knew. So he brought out his portable power pack and, like magic, got my car running!

My car battery was definitely dead and needed to be replaced. Thank goodness it wasn't the alternator which would be considerably more expensive to repair/replace. So instead of towing it to the garage and paying for diagnostics and most likely a laundry list of repair work that my car might not have really needed, Scott pointed me in the right direction to get the battery replaced ASAP and within an hour, I had the full use of my car back. So grateful

I had a blow out this evening with my son in the car on a dark highway. Nick showed up to save the day. I wasn't sure if I had a spare but Nick was able to find it and put it on car. Then the spare was low on air and luckily I have a portable air compressor. So Nick put air in the spare and we were ready to go. (BTW before I mentioned the portable air compressor Nick had offered to follow us to a gas station to make sure we arrived safely)

I highly recommend Crossroadz Towing and Nick if he's available.

Absolutely awful, instead of driving tow truck to vehicle, they drove my SUV down the driveway and parked it

Plenty of room for tow truck, SUV had a bad oil thermostat and leaked everywhere once transmission was engaged

Had the best tow from Gary Thomas on his first day (July 14th) with Cross Roads Towing. He was super professional, conscientious and a great personality. (we had an hour drive back with my car on the flatbed). He took great care loading and made sure I was comfortable. Thanks Gary!

Had a great experience having Scotty tow my car. Very professional and courteous. He had no problems getting my lowered ek onto and off the flatbed. He got my sleeper home safe. Thanks again Scotty and Crossroadz!
