Everything is so good and fresh! Small family owned and operated gem in Alpine.
My favorites are everything croissant- by everything - I mean all the different varieties
Almond
Chocolate
Plain
Cheese
Ham and Swiss
So many more options I have yet to try
They have fresh bread, huge variety of macaroons, donuts, bagels and a soft pretzel that melts in your mouth.
Come on up to alpine and fill up on some delicious treats
They have a cool place to sit and chill
My haul today - left to right
Cheese croissant - danish
Chocolate croissant- partially consumed on the way home
Almond croissant
Plain croissant- buttery - crispy - soft all in one - Mervin L.Lakewood, CA1711532/8/2023
I wanted to give my team some treats just because they are awesome.
Hours posted states they are open till 2pm today. Came and doors locked. Businesses want traffic, but does not update hours, how do you expect to stay in business?
What a waste of time. - Sean S.Boulevard, CA02815/16/2023
Pastries are stale over priced, unwelcoming environment. You can get a better cup of coffee at the shell station. Who's eyes are you trying to poke with your umbrellas on the side walk?

Walking in is pleasing to all the senses- smell of fresh bread baking, displays of beautiful pastries, friendly people - just one problem - trying to decide what to get.

I had a recent trip to San Diego from Phoenix, on my way home, before I would be limited to strictly fast food and gas stations, I decided to find a quick bite to eat.
This unsuspecting cafe hit the spot! The service was wonderful, the women behind the counter was so friendly and helped me decide between all the great options.
They have a great option of baked goods, from breads, quiche, macaroons and other sweets. I snagged the leek and truffle quiche, which was amazing. Some everything bagels for breakfast the next day and a raspberry mascarpone dessert.
Everything was delicious. The prices are a bit steep, but for the quality and service, it was worth it.
They have ample outdoor seating as well as some tables inside.
Definitely worth a stop before getting into the SD city traffic or in the midst of a road trip! - Jean M.El Cajon, CA1426144/10/2023
Fresh baked bread, croissants and pastries, all delicious! Would highly recommend. Staff is welcoming, happy to see you and kind. This is a family business and they have pride in the product they produce. Once you try their breads and pastries you won't want anything else!

What is there to say, the baker studied in Paris. The coffee is perfecto. The name is so misleading and may not invite you in... but if you haven't pressed pause on your Starbucks addiction to stop in for some hand-made-with-love quality and that Parisian baked-good experience... you are missing out on this little gem.

This place is wonderful! The woman behind the counter is so sweet. Every time I've been there, she actually talks to customers and asks about them. The food is wonderful. The breads, macarons, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches are all delicious! It's such a quaint little spot. It's a place I've already been to several times.

Incredible service and delicious food!!
Their store is beautiful and the staff are friendly. My favorite breakfast is probably a cinnamon roll and a mint chocolate drink. Always a winner. The only problem ever is the time. Don't come here if you are in a rush, because food this good takes time! - Sally B.Alpine, CA0563/3/2023
Fast and friendly, pricey and not so great. This is the third time I have tried this place hoping for improvement. I bought two slides of quiche and a croissant. It came to over $34. The quiche is extremely cheesy and not much else. The cheese is good just too much and no other flavor. I bought a slice of the tomato and a slice of broccoli. Both bland. The croissant is a disappointment. Not crispy but soggy, doesn't taste like a buttery croissant should. Taste like refrigerator dough. I know people love this place but the prices and quality don't equate. This is a miss for me.
