About the Business
At the Crepevine we take great pride in providing the freshest, healthiest, ingredients we can buy, such as organic, fair-trade coffee, ocean raised Canadian salmon, and 100% natural beef that has never been given any antibiotics or hormones. Most of our fruits and vegetables are purchased from local farmers and growers. We use 100% Grade A pure maple syrup. All of our dressings and sauces are made from scratch in our own kitchen, including our pancake mix. The Crepevine was built and created by our family to be a gathering place for families, friends, professionals, and students. In our menu, you will always find something exciting to eat; and certainly, our youngest guests will never be disappointed.

You may wish to contact the restaurant directly to see if there are options not on the menu. My impression is that vegan options are minimal. Some salads and maybe pastas.

This Crepevine location offers gluten-free pancakes, waffles, and crepes...and while gluten-free bread things are always not-quite-right, but these are pretty tasty. They also offer delicious fresh pressed carrot and orange juice which we adore. My husband enjoys the Denver omelette, and my favorite is the gluten-free waffle with fresh berries.

We tried this restaurant because I have celiac and they have gluten free crepes. While the vast majority of the meal was tasty and well prepared the gluten free crepe was closer to leather than a thin pancake. Good portions and tasty food deserve a good rating but I'm taking one star off for the disappointing gluten free option.

I ordered my savory crepe gluten free with fries but I'm pretty sure the fries were not gluten free as they had some kind of seasoning on them.

Alexandra B.Palo Alto, CA134Jan 11, 2013After a long workday I was in the mood for my favorite Gluten Free Tuscany Crepe, which I had orderend and enjoyed at thePalo Alto and Burlingame Crepvine several times. It took me forever to find parking downtown Mountain View on a Friday night and by the time I reached the restaurant to place my order I was tired and starving only to find out that they don't serve the Gluten Free version at this location. I couldn't hide my dissapointment... The gentlemen who took my order called the owner and guess what.....he rolled up his sleves and said: "I am going to make one for you!" So off he went and about 15min later I had my favorite, most delicious Gluten Free Crepe in front of me. What a nice gesture, what a nice gentleman! I felt really taken care off. Next time I try the gluten free pancakes and wafles...
