Do they have vegan options?
A:
You may wish to contact the restaurant directly to see if there are options not on the menu. My impression is that vegan options are minimal. Some salads and maybe pastas.

I've been meaning to try this place for a while after hearing good things about it.
The interior is nice and cozy for a casual restaurant. There was a fairly short line to order at 7PM on a Saturday night. I think we waited for five minutes. You order first, get a number for your table, and can choose to sit anywhere that's available inside or out.
We got the Tuscany crepe with potatoes and the bombay crepe with fries. Each savory crepe came with salad as well. The salad was good and I liked the vinaigrette. The Tuscany crepe was well stuffed. If I'm being really picky, there maybe was just a bit too much pesto in it. The potatoes and fries were good. The portion size of the crepe matched the price.
There were a lot of servers around so it was easy to flag one down if you needed anything.
Overall, really good!

Gets prettyyy busy during brunch/lunch time. The way it works is that you stand in line and give your order, and then take a number and find any open table. Food is brought to you, along with utensils and water.
The food portions are enORMOUS. That feels warranted for the price. The taste is not bad, but quite savory and lacks some depth I think. The New Orleans benedict was veryyyy rich - would recommend going with more than one person and splitting some dishes to get a balance of sweet and savory.

Arrived as soon as they opened on Taco Tuesday, no wait & plenty of seating, inside & outside, so depending on how your feeling, you can decide where you wanna be while enjoying your yummy food & company, if you didn't go alone.
Lots of street parking & if you're there too early or maybe even waiting to be seated, it's downtown, which means, take a stroll, window shop & enjoy the fresh air. No need to worry about busy cars because the whole middle is closed off, for all the business in the area to sit & people watch.
Fast friendly service from the time we walked in, sat down, ordered & waited for our food to come out. Everything we ordered was not only very pretty, it also tasted very flavorful. If you haven't tried this place. It's a must if your in the area, or just debating on does meat & Vegys really go in a crepe don't knock it, till you've tried it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Eating on Castro street in downtown Mountain View next to the railroad tracks a few blocks down.
Came here with a "meetup" social group of about 8 people.
Order up front at the cashier, before entering the restaurant. A remnant of the pandemic, and a cause for long lines, as people have to make up their minds on what to order, before entering. 3.9% surcharge on all orders using credit cards. Fast food style ordering, and they still want the 20% tip. At least served with metal utensils and solid dishware, instead of paper plates.
Service was very slow, as got here at 452pm and not served until 530pm.
Prices on the steep side, with vegetarian crepes starting at $15, chicken, salmon and beef crepes at $18. Dishes come with lettuce and fries.
Wife's $16.95 Milano crepe was grilled eggplant, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes in cheddar and mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce. Vegetarian dish, not something my wife a carnivore like me would normally order. I think she ordered it so that Anna, the vegetarian organizer, could sample a bite with knife and fork. Serving size only average as wife had no trouble finishing it, along with lettuce and fries.
My $17.95 Philly Cheese crepe had thin slices of beef, white cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, mushrooms. Went well with the delicious fries. Could taste the beef, an indication of a good portion of meat, not overwhelmed by the cheese.
Beef was tender enough so that I could eat it without two of my teeth, including a canine tooth missing, due to crowns breaking off at the gum line on root canal teeth.
This was June 23, 2023, a nice hot summer day, allowing us to eat outside. If you tried that today, you would be blown over by the high winds and soaked by the heavy rain waiting to order your food before entering the restaurant.Helpful 24Thanks 9Love this 19Oh no 6Business owner information

This place is pretty good. Large portions and fast service. Love the outside ambiance and sitting there for Sunday morning brunch. We got a mimosa the sunrise crepe fries and the sausage. It came out to a total of 37 dollars which isn't much given the portions. The flavor of the fries was so good and unique. I would come back but the food isn't extraordinary, but it does the trick.

Couldn't really imagine how the restaurant felt inside especially when it's mostly described as New American. They have like a huge menu displaying on the register and the food is surprisingly good!
I rarely have crepes, but these ones are bigger. It depends on what ingredients they added inside. I got the Philly Crepe, which in this case, the crepe is a bit massive. Really good along with their fries and salad.
I am unsure how people eat crepes properly, but I used a fork and knife to eat it. Hopefully, that's properly how we're supposed to eat it haha
Definitely gonna be coming back for more!

Usually, this is a brunch spot, but dinner works as well for savory crepes, sandwiches, and maybe even wrap it up with a sweet crepe, right? So that's what we had for dinner tonight.
I went for the San Francisco crepe, and it was delicious! I love the mounted pile of fresh salad on the plate! And the crepe is stuffed with smoked salmon (you get to choose smoked salmon or fresh salmon), spinach, onions, and cheese; so yummy! And the portion was so huge that I could only finish the salad, half a crepe, and left my potatoes untouched.
Although the model is you order at the counter and pay first, and then sit down, the service is no less. A staff member came to wipe our table, water was delivered, and we got checked on twice. Everything was courteous and on-point.
We then got a Smore sweet crepe as dessert, which was no less impressive. A big scoop of ice cream, loaded chocolate, and marshmallows inside the crepe; it's really hard not to have a sugar high.
I forgot this place prefers cash and charges a % for using credit cards, but 3.6% seemed higher than last time. That's the only drawback.

Hi LeeLee,
I've sent you a direct message regarding this review. I hope we get to serve you again!Aug 6, 2023Previous reviewI can't believe that out of 20 years I'm in the Bay Area and walked past this restaurant a zillion times I've never come here to try.
Today I'm craving for crepe and suddenly the name Crepevine makes sense. Their menu has brunch items more than just crepes and I love the variations of crepes!
The line on Sunday lunch hour is crazy long, luckily they have lots of seating spaces and their operation model is to line up, order and pay first and then find your own seat. Somehow this saves time for everyone and I don't see people wandering around waiting for seats. Something worth pointing out is that their price on the menu is cash price only, if you pay with credit card it adds on 3.9%. Just noticed that posting next to the cashier, sure hope that's printed somewhere on the menu.
Only the food. We got a Milano crepe which is massive and the amount of veggie inside is loaded. I'm also surprised that with the marinara sauce on top the crepe didn't turn into a stew. The Philly Crepe has beef that tasted like with taco seasoning but the mushroom is in creamy white sauce. I think I like Milano's consistency more, but Philly has meat. Both plates have a huge amount of food.
Service is sweet. The water lady checked on us after we sat down for 5 minutes. We got what we need despite the busy volume of customers. Just that the noise level inside is quite high with the open kitchen operating on turbo. The sound of metal utensils clashing is quite deafening.
We will come back again to try its other crepes. - Dec 16, 2023
Good place for a casual brunch, but the restaurant can get pretty loud fast since it's busy!
The portions here are LARGE. I always end up having to take my food to go since there's a decent amount of leftovers for later!
I ordered the Florentine Crepe with potatoes. This was a good option for those who want a lighter and simple dish! They provide a generous amount of cottage and jack cheese inside the crepe, which I liked, but it overpowered most of the dish.

Excellent service. We had a large group, 10 people. The servers setup a nice corner table. Food and drinks came out fast.
The setup here is that one orders at the counter, gets a number, and finds a table. The server will bring over water, drinks, and food.
Food was in generous quantity. 3 people can easily share two plates. We liked The Steak sandwich, Milano crepe, Pattaya Shrimp crepe, and Palermo pasta with chicken. The fries was tasty with the Caesar salad - a great combo with the Steak sandwich.
Good place to have brunch.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

It was cozy and Christmasy this visit in the middle of December. We came for late lunch and they had plenty of options, but I got the vibe this place shines more for breakfast or brunch. I would try their Benedict or namesake crepes for breakfast. It's Cafe type lunch like soup , salad and sandwiches and wraps and of course savory crepes. I didn't see many heavy entree options which that's fine, just noting that. The price seemed a tad high but then the portions were large which made it seem more normal priced. (18.50 for sandwich and soup)
You order at the cashier and take a number. We were a little surprised that it was full service after that with servers bringing us food, drinks etc. They were great. The cashier seemed lightly irritated that I had a couple questions, LOLwell I have never been to crepevine and there was no line behind me so I'm not sure why?
Nice spot while you're visiting downtown. Casual and friendly . I'm sure we will be back at some point when we are downtown.
