Went last night, the first line moved pretty quickly and was really encouraging. However, we soon realized that this because they were sending in groups way to close to eachother. This meant that going through the haunt we kept running into other groups, and really limited the scare. After the first haunt we ran into another line, which happened to take longer than the very first. It really felt like they were short on actors because we could go through 3-4 rooms without seeing an actor.

Then once we got to the Dark Room which I believe is house number 6 we hit a dead stop. We spent nearly 20 minutes in the house in a line, inside the haunt. This haunt was filled with smoke and was incredibly warm bc of the probably 50 people cramped together. Then we got stuck in line in the claustrophobia tunnel, that's like a birthing simulation. The actual headaches that this caused were ridiculous. This smoke was dreadful to stand in for so long. Any longer we might have passed out or thrown up. Once we exited the dark room the line did not stop. We probably spend another 20 minutes waiting to get to house number 7. Once we got to 7 we had to ask to be escorted out bc of our headaches. We'd been in creepyworld for an hour and half and had only gotten half way through bc of lines inside the attraction.

I've been going to creepyworld for over 10 years and this is probably the most disappointing experience I've seen. They seem to have the mentality of pushing everyone through. But then some staff realize that's not effective, and try to regulate the crowd leading to extreme waiting in lines. Crowd control seems to be a large struggle.

One of the best haunted attractions, continuously year after year is Creepyworld! What was once a single haunted attraction called Silo X has evolved into one of the largest haunted attractions in the country.

located in a somewhat rural area, Creepyworlds dark setting fits right in. parking is 5 dollars, and that's not much at all. their ticket area is set up nicely, and always seems to run smoothly. Use caution when planning your visit to this attraction, don't go the week of Halloween when its at its peak time, you will be disappointed in the biggest way, besides long lines at the window, the groups aren't broken down enough so when you walk through the attractions, you will have other groups right in front of you, or even worse it will be one long line strolling through the houses.

Creepyworld has evolved into 13 houses on one site, and depending on the crowds can take up to an hour or more to go through, which to me is definitely getting your money's worth. The houses are professionally done, and their props and sets are maintained, and in constant working order each year. several of the houses are built on gravel, so there is some dust, combine that with heavy use of fog machines and I must say if you have breathing problems, you might want to consider a face mask or don't go.

The actors in the house do a great job of scaring you, I can do without the constant loud screaming from some of them, but its only a few scattered here and there. They use drop panels, and computer graphic screens throughout which is always a great added touch.

With all honesty I truly miss the old days where the actors in haunted houses were allowed to touch you as you walked through, but with the attitudes of today from a lot of people, that just wont happen anymore. I visit Creepyworld each Halloween, and I am never disappointed, I always feel as though I am getting my money's worth, as does the groups I have taken through the house.

If your looking for something to do during the Halloween season, be sure to check out CreepyWorld and see what they have to offer in that department, but remember to time your visit accordingly for the best possible experience.

      Pros:
      cool props
      Intricate sets
      Neat electronics
Lots of different haunted house themes for one price

      Cons:
      Very minimal amount of actors
      Way too long
Lines in the middle of everything but no way to get out of line and walk around without fully exiting and missing the rest of the scares
Wtf is with the bathroom situation? 2 hours of lines and houses without being able to exit and no bathroom in between?
Paying for parking... why when we are paying per person to be there?

Honestly I'm a giant baby and if the biggest scare I had all night was having to pee then obviously they need to step it up

I can't say enough good things about this place! It was every bit the experience the Travel Channel made it out to be! I was blown away by the special effects, the props, the actors, and the overall experience.

Having said all that, the rest of this review will focus on my complaints. I'm posting them here because I hope Creepyworld's management will read this and will spot some areas where there's room for improvement.

First, as there are 12 separate attractions, the boundary between where one attraction ended and where the next began was really blurred. Some clear and obvious signage would help a lot. After the first three attractions, the next several just kind of blended together.

Which brings me to my second point. I don't know if it was because I was there early in the season and they hadn't hired all their performers yet, but the middle attractions had a lot fewer performers than the beginning and end attractions. It was like they were bringing their A-game for the first and last attractions, and half-assing it on the middle attractions.

Third, it was really easy to get lost, due to poor lighting, poor prop placement, etc. Several times performers had to break character to point customers in the right direction, often after we had almost wound up backstage. In "The Dark Zone" attraction there was a section where about two dozen customers all got bunched up in a backstage area due to not being able to see. A performer had to break character and get us all headed the right way. Perhaps some glow-in-the-dark painted arrows on the ground would have helped, without taking away from the experience.

Finally, you have to pay to park. This is not something they mention on their website, and customers need to know this. Fortunately my wife had a five on her, otherwise I'd have had to turn around and go to an ATM (since I don't carry cash).

Very rude employee. I spent $60 for my son & I to have a fun night out. $25 a ticket for entrance, $5 extra a person for the haunted hayride. As we entered the haunted hayride line, I pulled out my wallet to give the employee our tickets. The employee saw my law enforcement badge in my wallet, and I'm guessing he thought I was trying to get on the hayride for free. He began saying "What are you doing, trying to flash your badge? You think that's going to impress me? I was a cop for 25 years?" I then removed my already paid for tickets from my wallet and handed them to the guy. I explained to him I wasn't trying to get by on anything and I had already purchased the tickets. This made the situation very uncomfortable and my son could barely enjoy the rest of the evening because he was so upset about how this guy spoke to me. Again I paid $60 for a nice night out and this guy was very rude and ruined the evening for my son and I.

If your seeking a thrill, this is certainly not the place for you. The price is alright for the experience plus the $5 parking. The problem I had was that because of the large amount of people that was there, all they were trying to do was push people through. Since it does take a while to get through all 13 attractions, you ended up in a group of 20 for each attraction. You end up seeing where the actors were hiding and scaring the people ahead of you which gives away the location. It was like that the whole way through. So yea pretty much I just spent money to watch others get scared. Also for the amount of attractions they have, there isn't enough actors to match. You find yourself just walking through looking at the artwork and esthetics hoping the automated scare tactics pop out and scare you. This place is also all gravel through out so as people walk it kicks up heavy dust. If you have asthma, sinus, or allergies be warned! HOWEVER, the sets were decorated scary and the special effects was very good!

Unfortunately it is not scary. Almost no surprises. The work that has been put into the costumes, buildings, artwork, decorations, props and animatronics is pretty neat looking. Definitely not enough actors. Sadly there's just way too many sections to go through and majority were left without actors and completely dependent upon the artwork, decorations, props and animatronics. Some sections had way too much fog that it was blinding. The areas that had actors was fun, but they are stretched too thin and are not able to surprise or scare people enough because there just isn't enough actors to keep up with the amount of paying customers in line. I think the actors did the best they could and I enjoyed their acting, costumes, masks and makeup. I appreciate their efforts. Maybe it's just gotten too big with too many sections. I honestly would prefer short and scary with all the actors being able to hide then totally jump scare the crap out of me. I heard very little screams the whole night. Also be prepared to be there for close to two hours going through the whole place. Many sections had long wait times.

I recently went to the haunted house this weekend. I am easily scared and I think I only got scared once. It is a perfect place to take kids but it is not a bit scary. The way everything is set up was pretty cool but other than I felt like it was a waste of money and time.

Okay so this place looks really hyped up and cool. Had to stand in the rain which wasn't fun. There definitely weren't enough people there to scare you. Most of the time the weren't any people trying to scare you, it was just props. And the lines took a long time. The first line was pretty fast but everything after that was a pretty long wait. And MY WHITE VANS GOT TRASHED. RIP. Definitely won't be going back.

I had to pay $5 for parking and they made me park in the woods even though there was at least 147 parking spots open that they did not let me park in. I haven't actually gone in the haunted house yet I'm just pissed about parking. I would give zero stars if that was an option.
