Liz has an incredibly healing touch. Each needle precise, each cup nice and tight with a tuina massage to seal it all up-- it's the best. I couldn't recommend her sessions enough as a part of regular maintenance. Even having moved away I still seek her care every time I'm in LA.

SO grateful to have found Liz several years ago when I was suffering from sciatica and lower back pain. She is a truly gifted acupuncturist, healer and all around amazing human being. Liz is one of the most incredible human beings I have ever met, I started acupuncture with her while I was pregnant with my second child and she helped prep me for labor. Not only was it the most relaxing time throughout my pregnancy - I often fell asleep during my sessions (that is not easily achieved at 9 months pregnant) but Liz has a calming, healing aura about her. Her passion for healing and genuine kindness always makes me feel like I am in the hands of someone who cares and she not only helped my aches and pains of pregnancy but mentally put me in a state of feeling calm and prepared for labor when my hormones were all over and my anxiety was high. I recently followed one of my favorite acupuncturists to her own new practice. Jessica Chen, formerly with The Tao of Wellness ( I believe she practiced there for 12 years), is an outstanding acupuncturist. She has been treating me for several months at the Tao.

I always loved her positive energy and warmth and was sad to see her go from The Tao. One day, my schedule worked out perfectly to see her so I decided to check out her new digs.

She is located in a prime, easily accessed spot - directly across the street from The Fairmont and caddy corner to the 3rd St Promenade in the red brick building. Her office is light and airy, an oasis from the hustle and bustle. You can pretty much walk there from any point in the area, and then shop or have lunch afterwards.

Most importantly, she is just so good! Her practice includes a variety of techniques: acupuncture, herbs, cupping and some massage are the way she has treated me thus far. No matter how frazzled I am when I arrive, I quickly fall into a deep and peaceful sleep with her considerate touch and expertise. I always feel extremely rejuvenated afterwards, and pain free.

Dr Chen is an expert. She specializes in fertility issues and has worked alongside physicians and fertility specialists for years. She is also a master at alleviating back pain. Conveniently, her new practice can directly bill insurance too- which takes a lot of stress off the patient.

I love how open her new office feels, her practice is expanding and it feels so special to be treated there! If you are curious about acupuncture, she is a great start and if you are familiar and know the good from the bad- definitely call her because she is amazing!! I have seen many acupuncturists and I love her, my back feels awesome today from yesterday's treatment - thank you Dr Chen!
