Grabbed lunch to go from crazy beans today. I got a grilled cheese with tomato and waffle fries.
I loved the thick sourdough the sandwich was on, it had a great crunch and tasted amazing!
The inside of the restaurant is so cute with vintage signs and old magazine covers.
Overall, a great takeout experience!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 9, 2024
Lots of parking, nice and clean inside, interesting decor.
The menu offers a nice selection of atypical diner/breakfast fare with an almost overwhelming selection of coffee, cocoa, and seasonal cocktails. You'll feel like you want to try everything.
We had the pancake quesadillas, short rib sandwich, a bacon cheeseburger (one of the things I have to get when trying a new place, as kind of a gauge. It was pretty good), and the duck hash with eggs over medium.
The food came out in a timely fashion, and was fantastic. I ate all of my duck hash and the burger #thisiswhyimfat. The others in my party took home leftovers because they always do.
I'd go back again, even though this isn't close to me. I'd even go to the one further out East if I can count on the same experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cinnylexus G.Miller Place, NY198402Mar 7, 2024Updated review
Love this place. They have Delicious food and coffee! Love the caramel coffee. Plus I like that I can get it delivered if needed.

Not a bad place to eat, but it's very small. Food is good. Cool drinks. But they lose a star because for some reason they won't reveal wait times over the phone, so to me this is more of a takeout spot. Toast has a huge location now just minutes away from Crazy Beans which is just as good food-wise and Toast has have a virtual waitlist, which is great because you can join it from home! So if you're dining in, go to Toast, but if you're doing takeout consider trying Crazy Beans.

Interesting brunch or breakfast menu. We frequented this place about 3-4 times this holiday season. Inside is clean, bathrooms are clean and staff is friendly. My review is really a "3.5" STARS. I rather round up then down since my kids frequent your establishment almost once a week. And everyone is great to them. You should be part of a
Community group like MT SINAI or Miller Place football club or 3 m music to give these kids a lil break when they stop in as
Much as they do. As for the food I am more of an old school breakfast person that enjoys a lil of ea breakfast sampling. You did not have that and found
Myself splitting plates with people to try all. Decent food but not so
Much a
Fan of avocado on everything. Sounds fun but not for meHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 28, 2023Updated review
Have been here several times, most of which without children. This week has been a crazy week with my son getting injured and then having surgery on his eye. Tuesday after the eye doctor appointment we stopped in because we had spent so long at the eye doctor before taking him to see a specialist that was recommended at that doctor... It was about an hour before they closed and I was worried that we would take up too much of their time because my kids were definitely overtired and I was overtired, hungry, not caffeinated... they were so amazing, helped keep my kids entertained, so I could eat, the food was amazing and a coffee was even more delicious. They were so kind to give my kids little bowls of whipped cream to keep them occupied until the food came out. completely wonderful staff. I will always be coming back here when I'm in the area (most likely next week when we revisit the eye doctor to check in post-op)

They have a very creative drink list. The food menu looks wonderful and I wish I could try each and every one of these items.
I got a caramel latte and an egg sandwich. My only minor complaint is that they used a hamburger roll for the egg sandwich and not a Kaiser roll. It fell apart very easily in the car. However, it was still very delicious. The bun had a buttery flavor. But, for me traveling I needed something easy to pick up and eat. I will definitely be back to sit down and dine in. Very friendly staff. - James T.Queens, Queens, NY4414Dec 2, 2023
I eat here regularly. The food is always great. The ambiance can get a little loud, so I usually get my food delivered or to go, but anytime I've dined in, I've never had less than great service. No matter how you get your food, they seem to go out of their way to make your experience pleasant. This is my favorite place to eat.

Went for breakfast with our three month old, sat at a table and planned on pushing the stroller in, in place of a chair (not in or blocking the aisles) We were told by one person that strollers weren't allowed because they are a "fire hazard" (wondering what they tell people in wheelchairs) and instead we had to put the car seat on a chair. Then a different person came up to us and said we can't put the car seat on the chair because it's not safe and a "hazard and liability to them" if the baby falls off, so we then had to put the car seat on an upside down high chair that was so unstable my husband had to keep his foot under it the entire time. Food and coffee were good as usual, but definitely won't be returning. Staff made us feel like such an inconvenience for bringing our baby.

I can't say enough good things about Crazy Beans. I've been to their Miller Place, Stony Brook, and Greenport locations and I've had stellar experiences at all three. Across the board the service is fantastic-even on their busiest day. I'm a pumpkin coffee junkie and I was so pleased to see that they serve pumpkin flavored coffee even on the off season! Great food and coffee. I loved the retro diner vibe and how friendly and warm their staff is! Hands down my favorite local small business.
