This place has been around for at least 35 years and a go to whenever we're on the river. It's the perfect small town feel with home cooking and friendly staff. For the city folk, I'd rather eat breakfast here than find a typical 24hr diner in any city. Breakfast is served ALL day..yay! Only open until 2 or 3 depending on the day. Dad likes the burgers, I like the breakfast options, and Mom likes the blueberry pancakes. Bacon (which I normally don't eat) is cooked to crispy perfection...melts in your mouth. Yum, yum, get some! ENJOY!

Always good food and friendly, attentive staff who keep the coffee coming. Smaller old school cafe. My parents especially appreciate their tasty throwback classics: corned beef with eggs and chipped beef on toast. I love the cranberry wild rice toast with a smear of orange marmalade. Sound good? It is.

Cute, quaint little spot for a delicious breakfast or lunch with friendly folks and descent prices in the heart of Pine River. What else can you ask for!?
Ordered the veggie omelet with peppers onion, tomato, and mushrooms with marble rye bread and my friend ordered the breakfast burrito.
Can't wait to come back, thank you for the great service ladies!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kayla H.Andover, MN07Aug 24, 2021
Great place to stop for breakfast. Made my own veggie omelette and the cook did a fantastic job!

Traditional mom and pop restaurant. Good prices and large servings. You could tell the eggs were fresh and hash browns cooked perfectly. Perfect place for starting your day off.

Came in, sat down, was ignored. Two groups came in after me, and were helped immediately. And it's not even that I wasn't seen; it's a small space, and a worker walked by twice, making eye contact. And I'm an alpaca, I stand out in a crowd. Is it that I'm not a local alpaca? Come on Cozy Cottage, I was prepared to spend money. Instead I got up and left.

Typical small town diner. Good hearty food, reasonably priced. No veg options. No credit cards.
Go for breakfast, sit anywhere other than the "regulars" table!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lisa E.Inver Grove Heights, MN0153Jul 12, 2015
