As a general rule I have been very pleased with my stays here. However, this time did meet what I have been accustomed to from the Courtyard. When I arrived staff was not nearly as pleasant as usual, and after I settled into the room I threw something in the trash can located in the bedroom and immediately was hit with a strong cigarette smell. I checked and there was cigarette butts in the trash can under the trash bag. Such a disgusting smell and within minutes the entire room smelled.
I called the front desk to explain what I had found and tell them I put the trash can in the hallway and the response was " so what do you want, the trash can removed or are you asking for a new room?" in a disgusted tone...I was simply letting the staff know what I found as it was poor housekeeping to leave cigarettes in the trash can. I should have insisted on a room change because the room smelled horrible even after removing the trash can but I had already settled in so I stayed in the room. I stay here often, and hopefully this is a one time issue, but I am quite disappointe.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hudson M.Mendota Heights, MN01Mar 14, 2023
Never, ever, ever, leave your car at the Courtyard Mendota Heights, MN, with the park and fly option!
The hotel has no security cameras, disavows any responsibility for theft or damage, and if your car is damaged/vandalized, they won't even refund the cost of the parking!
Zero concern for customers here, all they care about is getting your cash!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - May 9, 2018
Just okay
On the old side.
Staff was friendly.
They need to monitor the bushiness area because it was just a room with many kids playing games on the computers. I know it's the parents responsibility to watch their kids but the staff should keep them out of the business area or rename it the computer/video game room.
The bar made pretty good drinks.
Nothing bad nothing special.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kristen E.Savannah, GA1804458Jun 25, 2018
Best customer service! Everyone that works here is super helpful! I am not from the area and needed some help and they were a pleasure to work with!

Three stars is right. Adequate stay. Pleasant staff. Clean and quiet room. No Titanium upgrade and a late shuttle take the rating down.

If you're sensitive to noise DO NOT stay here. Planes, planes and more planes take off right over the hotel. I went to bed at 11 and woke up at 4:50 to the sound of planes. Also the doors to the rooms don't block out any hallway noise. That said, it seems they recently remodeled and I was impressed with the hotel overall. The rooms are nice and comfy. The bed is slightly on the softer side but I'm small and liked it. Loved the Paul Mitchell products and the water pressure was good. The Bistro food was really good. I had a salad, chicken pot pie, chicken quesadilla and a breakfast entree. It was all tasty!

Flew into the Minneapolis airport, exhausted, so we found a close hotel. The staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, a bit soft, but comfortable. They have a restaurant, with beer and wine available for dinner after 5.
The food and beverages were Expensive for what you got, but that is to be expected for the convenience, I guess. Nothing complimentary at this hotel, even a decent cup of coffee will cost you. They do offer a way to brew coffee in your room, but hardly a good cup of coffee. Won't be backHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chris D.Albuquerque, NM410Jul 1, 2017
Horrible just horrible. I called ahead today to make sure the pool and hot tub where not closed. They said no. There open. So I booked a room for the night to go on a mini 1 day out of town vacation. Get to the hotel check in after a long 3.5 hr drive only to find out the hot tubs broken and has no bubbles. Then I go down stairs to the Bistro cafe only to be told that they got no food order in and they are completely sold out of everything. Can't even relax eating a Carmel Drizzle Brownie Sundae. Like wtf. It's a holiday weekend. I'm paying $125.00 and they have no food in the restaurant and no working hot tub. Oh and for $16 more bucks you can get a continental breakfast that has nothing in stock in the restaurant.

I come to town for business every other week, and have had nothing but positive experiences here! It's very clean, their outstanding manager, Leon, goes above and beyond with providing an outstanding customer experience, a Starbucks, a restaurant with an appealing menu, comfortable beds and a well stocked convenience area if you forget anything or need a quick something to eat or drink. I actually discovered this place walking over in the snow for some Tylenol from a neighboring hotel and declared we were staying here moving forward! It makes being away from home often so much easier and more comforting. I look forward to seeing everyone when I check in and am so thankful for their wonderful hospitality.

This courtyard is a bit off the beaten path but the lobby and rooms are clean and updated. The customer service is top notch. I would definitely stay here again because it is still easy to get in and out of the city and there are local and chain restaurants close by.
