About the Business
As a bouldering gym, Columbus Rock Gym lets climbers clamber up the rock-walls devoid of ropes or harnesses, all over a padded floor. Safety remains key, though--the entire team has extensive climbing experience and they've implemented course designs for varying skill-levels. CRG wants climbers of all ages to become a part of its community, where passion for the sport drives every strategic handhold.

Short Version: Amazing place to hang out & get in shape! Beautiful brand new facilities & Personable owner operator team! Appropriate for all skill levels, and ages! This is the only rock gym for a decent radius, and its a great one.
Facility: Clean walls with nice holds, High ceilings (obviously), extremely well designed layout and well thought out interior design, brand new HVAC / Dry wall & Plenty of parking! There is a separate kids section which looks awesome, great complement to the Commons. There is also a huge setup for Ninja Warrior training, included with monthly membership
Team: 5 Awesome young Cummins engineers in their 20's who just wanted to build a place to climb and plot their own courses (pun intended), extremely personable team of spidermen who will coach you through your climbs.
Value: $12 for a drop in pass or $10 with a package / $49 for unlimited monthly membership which includes access to their Ninja Warrior setup! Water is free! Hours are awesome and make the membership very compelling, Weekdays 5pm - 10pm & Weekends 10am - 8pmHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sahithya S.San Diego, CA299621Sep 14, 2019
Amazing place. A must visit for people who love to do something different and to have that adrenaline rush! Good for a group activity or great for activity to be done with a friends group. The people here are super friendly and chatty and help you to choose the path that one needs to take if you are here for the first time!
Would surely visit againbHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Your M.Chicago, IL0504May 2, 2021
This place was so much fun. I mean, watching children out climb me was a bit of a bruise to the ego but all and all a great time.
They have a ping pong table that needs a bit of a facelift but we still enjoyed every minute of our visit!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lexy H.Indianapolis, IN32867Feb 14, 2020
This gym may be small, but it's mighty! This space is limited in respect to variety, but what it lacks in variety, it makes up in character. The staff are awesome, always fun to have around, and the setting is unique. The gym has climbs for the first time climber and the seasoned vet to work on. They have recently added a Moon Board, which is phenomenal for training power for seasoned climbers. It's a cute space and truly, how can you not appreciate a space that has an N64 to play while resting?!

I went climbing for my adult-birthday and it was SO much fun. It was a great challenge for all of us & since we went on a Friday the hours extended to 10pm which was great. We didn't leave until 9:58! The adult bouldering room is smaller so I wouldn't recommend going with a group bigger than 4 during peak hours. I brought 8 during a quieter time & it was fine. There were about 16 people total at our busiest moments on the walls. There is a whole separate area just for kids 12 and under. All of the staff were great, super encouraging, and would climb at the same time, which was nice for technic examples. Bring your water bottle, cut your nails before coming, & wear comfy pants. You'll love it here!

We took the entire family. It was a lot of fun watching my 4 year old rub shoulders with the more experienced climbers. The staff and clients were all very encouraging. We'll be back!
