This Coffee Code was such a delightful last minute discovery for me. I'm sick of Starbucks and had to find a spot near me that serves one of a kind coffee mixes. I ordered the strawberry latte with the espresso ice cubes (who invented this--so genius!) and if you don't get to heaven after the first sip then you either have COVID or have questionable taste.
It's quite popular and most tables are taken with groups of friends chatting away so it probably won't be smart to study, work or sketch with all the noise.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 34617959Jan 28, 2024
There was a period in my life where I just really enjoyed dessert waffles, so I was really excited to try this. I came during a Saturday early evening and I was surprised there was still a good amount of people here just working with their laptop. I assume tables get taken rather quickly here, but luckily I found an open table so I could have my waffle here.
Ordering was quite easy- I ordered the fresh fruit waffle and an iced strawberry latte. My drink came out first and it did take a while for the waffle dish to be finished. Once I finally retrieved both, first glance the presentation already seemed really pretty!
Now trying the fresh fruit waffle, it wasn't as nostalgic as I remembered lol. Their waffle here was kind of too airy for my liking, so it was mainly just crispy? I wish it was more doughy that you could taste more of the waffle itself. I did enjoy it with the vanilla ice cream as well. Although, having this with grapes tasted a bit odd since the grapes made some bites sour and sweet. Having this waffle dish all to yourself makes this really sweet. Then trying the iced strawberry latte, that also tasted really sweet. It was cool they added those espresso cubes, but you'd have to wait a bit for it to melt so it could taste more like coffee. So the initial taste was really sweet because of the strawberry, but the drink later tasted much better once the ice cubes started melting.
Overall, everything just tasted really sweet. The waffle could also be better, and the drinks were potentially decent. Maybe I chose the wrong drink?

My boyfriend and I are venturing out to try new coffee shops; Coffee Code popped up with their advertised "coffee ice cubes" and we were instantly sold! We walked in on a Wednesday afternoon and were greeted by Sam-- the cafe isn't too big, seats about 20 or so customers, very clean and modernized. We met Sam at the register and asked a few questions since it was our first time and he was super informative. I asked what type of oatmilk they use (which is Califia Farms Barista Blend and it's good!) they use Monin brand syrups and sauces, and that their iced lattes are a little on the sweeter side. BF and I both went with the iced vanilla latte with oatmilk and it was perfect for me, who loves the sweetness but can also taste the espresso. We also purchased a cheese danish and strawberry cheese danish, both good and they warmed it for us!!
Sam made this a great first experience for us, even gave one of our drinks an extra pump of vanilla after ordering since my guy prefers a little sweeter. We would definitely come back 10/10. Customer service was amazing. The coffees are delicious -- coffee ice cubes are such a bonus!! I'm looking forward to trying another flavor next time :) thank you Sam for above and beyond service and for making us some delicious drinks.

I have visited Coffee Code a few times now. I've always been pleased with my visits. It is located in a small plaza with plenty of parking. There's tables indoor and outdoor. Restroom is in the back and is clean. Customer service has always been amazing.
My fave is the coconut mocha. Hits the spot every time!
I would definitely recommend!

The Spanish latte has a nice taste of cinnamon on it, the place itself is great. Good for students or who just needs a little quiet space for their own work. The service was fast too :)

One of my favorite coffee shops in the OC. Great and clean ambience with lots of natural lighting. They give off a minimalistic vibes. Fast wifi. Lots of seatings indoor. Service is fast and friendly. They have a variety of coffee drinks, both hot and cold. I think I've tried most of them by now. If you're in the area, or visiting Knott's Berry Farm, check out Coffee Code while you're here!

This place is practically right outside of the dirt lot at Knott's, so if you need a pick me up after a long day at the park, this place is a good choice! It's literally ~2 blocks away off the same street as the parking lot (same side of the street, too).
I got the vanilla latte and my husband got the horchata latte (both iced). The drinks def had a kick to them (thank god, we're also parents of a toddler lol), which the employee warned us about and she wasn't lying. Loved the idea of the coffee iced cubes. It creates a drink that keeps on giving lol.
The inside of the place is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. It must be a popular spot because there wasn't an empty table at 4pm on a Sunday.

We came to this cafe to do some work on a Sunday afternoon. The space inside is pretty spacious but it was still packed nonetheless. There were a couple of big parties so it did get pretty loud, but not a huge problem if you have headphones. We got a waffle as a small snack and I love how the smell of the waffle fills the place!

Wanted a change of scenery from our usual WFH routine in the home office so my husband and I decided to take our work out to the local coffee shop for half the day.
We came in around noon and it was PACKED! We were hoping it would quiet down after the lunch hour, but unfortunately, it didn't. This is NOT the place I would recommend to do some focus work and take meetings/calls. Because the place is small, it was quite NOISY.
However, even if you weren't coming in to do some work, I wouldn't recommend it for the reason that it's a bit OVERPRICED. I paid $7+ for a cup of MEDIOCRE, black coffee. My husband, however, swears that this place has the best MOCHA he has ever tasted.
No complaints about the service and this coffee shop is clean, airy, and bright.Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 1 - Sep 11, 2023
COFFEE CODE is located in a shopping center near Knott's Berry Farm. Parking is free in the lot.
On a Saturday afternoon, it was full of people working and studying.
ICED LATTE is strong.
HOT CORTADO is very good. Right amount of creaminess, tart, bitterness.
