You can't beat the friendly atmosphere of this place. Everyone is welcoming and kind. Also the food is just delicious! Everything is homemade and wonderful. If you stop by and you should, I hope you're lucky enough to go when they have shrimp and grits which is amazing. Also another review said you better have cash but that's no longer true, they do take credit/debit cards.

Last week, my work brought in some food from coconuts, and I had the club sandwich and it was incredible. The bread was so fresh and the sandwich was so delicious. I went back the following week, two nights in a row to have dinner there, one time getting a sub and the other time getting a Philly sandwich, both were delicious! Unfortunately, I won't be in the area for work anymore, but if this was close by, I would eat here regularly! The prices are great, and the food is delicious

So four elderly Illinois people can't find Coconuts in a town of 2,800. We call the restaurant for directions and get Tina who tells us we're right around the corner. We go around the corner, and she's out in front waving at us. We go inside, it's very clean, and Tina proceeds to tell us the specials and what most locals order. We had seafood salad subs and chicken salad which were excellent and served promptly. Tina asked us what we wanted for dessert, and we split a brownie and a piece of pound cake right out of the oven, both of which were delicious. Only problem was we didn't order the red velvet cake which is their specialty; so Tina brought a piece over at no charge, and it was wonderful. We had a great experience there and would highly recommend it for delicious, reasonably priced food and outstanding, friendly service.

Coconut's first let me say this I'm from a big city so whenever I go to a small town it takes a little bit of getting used to. Coconut's is located in Hampton SC population 250 lol just kidding its about 2500 still extremely small.
We stopped in for lunch you don't have many options here so you have go with the flow. Its a pretty good good size place room to dine in you place your order and they bring your food to you. Our waitress and the staff were very nice and our food arrived quickly.
I ordered a tuna sandwich with cheddar I wanted a tuna melt but they couldn't make that happen due to not having a oven one a toaster with that said they offered to toast my bread no biggie. i also ordered the lemonade which was made fresh and it was actually good like chic fil a lemonade good!
My sandwich was cool on a toasted sub roll with chips you have a choice of fruit also. But the catch is I got the sandwich lemonade and chips for like $6 bucks unheard of in Atlanta I couldn't believe it! So if you need a bite to eat stop in and have a small town lunch don't expect Jimmy Johns and you will be ok.
They also serve turkey, brisket, ham and a variety of other sandwiches along with salads and ice cream. Oh they don't accept credit or debit cards and of course there is no atm so have cash on hand!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Chris C.Hampton, SC24Jan 5, 2020
