Why eat anyplace else??. The coconut soup to die for as is all curry, noodles, all of it. So fresh and cooked to perfection. I LOVE this place.

It's been four years since we've eaten in at Coco Thai, so we decided it was time to try their pick up service. Sadly they don't cross the bridge for delivery, or we would be way more regular.
But, for Valentine's Day, which we postponed until the weekend, we did the online ordering: steamed shrimp spring rolls, Tom Yum soup, and deep fried duck.
All were very, very yummy, and it was a treat to have our meal in the comfy coziness of home, since Coco Thai is small and not so comfy.
We liked the meal so much, a week later we ordered again, this time getting pork dumplings, pork and veggies, and a beef in coconut curry sauce with veggies, which was outstanding.
This could become a habit. :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0May 27, 2019Previous reviewWe love Coco Thai Kitchen for its Crispy Duck Salad, but on this visit, we decided to try a couple of their signature dishes, while still enjoying their delicious duck as our meat of choice. I mean, how many places have duck in several of their menu choice?
My husband ordered the Crispy Duck with broccoli, carrots, bean sprouts, onions and scallions in brown sauce, and was so pleased with his meal. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the special sauce was very tasty.
I wanted a curry, so chose the Roasted Duck Curry, partly because I can't resist pineapple with duck, and it also included bamboo shoots, bell peppers and basil in a red curry sauce. The sauce was just spicy enough, and duck and veggies were perfect.
Pretty sure we are switching to hot entrees from now on.
And, next time, I want to try their veggie pancake appetizer as well.Jul 25, 2018Previous reviewIt's hard to visit Coco Thai and not order the amazing duck salad. We have had it several times, and have decided to order it not soaked in dressing. That decision changed the presentation, so now all the lovely ingredients are arranged beautifully, including a large portion of duck, which is wonderful.
Sometimes we have a curry, and sometimes a lunch special, sometimes we add spring rolls and coconut soup, and always the food is carefully prepared and tastes delicious.
The service lacks a bit of English communication, but they figure it out and are anxious to please.
It is a tiny place, and take out seems to be the main service, but we usually eat in and, even though the tables are squeezed into the space, we have always had a great meal.Jun 16, 2015Previous reviewWe were ecstatic to find a Thai restaurant on our way home from our weekly drive from Enfield to Southwick, MA and back.
We swerved and stopped in, not knowing what we would get--since Thai cuisine is one of our favorites.
What a grand surprise! The food was fresh, cooked to order, and absolutely delicious. I had the crispy duck salad, loaded with crispy, but roasted not fried, slabs of succulent duck on a bed of spring mix with cashews. A very refreshing and well-made dish. My husband had one of their daily specials--crispy basil with shrimp and chicken with rice. The entree really did have fresh basil, sautéed to crisp it, and diced chicken. The sauce looked very good. (I don't eat chicken.)
We had a fresh spring roll starter, which was every bit as good as it sounds. Fresh ingredients and served sushi style.
Our server, Nancy, was very attentive, filled our water glasses, made sure she cleared used dishes, and couldn't have been sweeter.
The value was also good, with both entrees at $12.95 and the spring roll at $5.95.
The place does have a large screen, and thankfully it was OFF so we enjoyed a quiet, wonderful meal.
This place only opened 2 weeks ago (June, 2015), but it is already a big hit for us. We shall return. Often. - Daniel P.Westfield, MA05Apr 7, 2024
Food was authentic and tasty- portions were a bit on the smaller side however the quality made up for it.

Eggplant with beef, a healthy twist with plenty of veggies, still missing the deep authentic flavors that CoCo Thai used to have.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 4, 2022Previous reviewI was so excited to get back to my favorite Thai restaurant after 2 years of Pandemic, unfortunately, I found the food has changed a bit. Its still a good Thai restaurant, but not nearly as great as it was.
The Tom yum soup was much milder, lost the intensity it had before, the Thai spring roll got chubby, looks more like a Chinese spring roll now, but shorter.
For lunch special, I got basil beef, picture looks pretty good, but again the flavor is muted. I can't even find basil leaves in there where it used to be loaded with them. I ordered one star spicy but tasted none. I think the diluted flavors may attract more American lunch goers, but at the expense of losing Thai authenticity? I can not support it,.
Don't get me wrong, still a good Thai restaurant, it's just not the authentic Coco Thai that I've come to love over the past 10 years :(
I also had upset stomach after lunch, but at N=1, I can't say for sure where it's from.May 30, 2019Previous reviewBest Thai around, best Asian restaurant around Enfield actually.

I've only switched to Drunken Noodle dish recently & it became my favorite. The explosion of flavors with each & every bite is just unbelievable!Feb 25, 2016Previous reviewGreat place, really surprised as it's so small, more like a take out place. Some really good dishes. I have been rotating the lunch menus so that I can get a better idea overall, here is my individual dish ratings:
1. L12 Golden Garlic with beef, 5 stars! Beef is delicious, so much better than beef from most Chinese places, vegies are fresh, sauce tasty is super!
2. L1 Pad Thai, 5 stars, Spot on with the classic Thai signature dish!
3. L15 Fresh Ginger, 4 stars, not bad but the golden garlic is better
4. Broccoli with chicken, 3 stars, this was ok but nothing special
5. Tum Yum soup + 2 rolls, 4 stars, this is the best out of the three lunch starter freebies,
It's good but not 5 star good.
I haven't tried any of the dinner menu yet, looking forward to explore it some times - Robert B.Hartford, CT1821Mar 21, 2024
The food here is just ok. Not terrible but not that good either. Also the portions are small.

Online prices are very inaccurate and ended up way more expensive in person? pretty deceiving

So we ordered the chicken drunken noodle but there wasn't much chicken but it was very tasty.
The basil friend rice was bland. The chicken in the fried rice was too dry and chewy too. So over all not worth it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Feb 22, 2021Previous reviewHmm
Let's c
We were passing through driving from Vermont to Hartford, CT
Wanted to try out a new Thai restaurant.
We ordered:
Thai iced tea- not that good
Drunken chicken- it was ground chicken and too much beans. Felt like we were eating beans and not chicken. I liked the taste but wasn't expecting so much of green beans
Fried tilapia- it was good
Crab Rangoon- too small in size
So overall I wasn't very happy :( - 18519384Sep 10, 2022
Checked out this place for the first time and was pretty impressed! They have take-out only right now. Called on a weekend evening, food was ready in about 20 minutes.
We ordered the dumplings, drunken noodles and massaman curry with two sides of rice. The dumplings were underwhelming but the rest of the food was delicious!! I honestly couldn't stop eating the noodles and curry. I will say there seemed to be fewer actual noodles in the dish and more veggies which is good or bad depending on what you prefer. I enjoyed the veggies for example but my husband was wondering where all the noodles were haha.
Curry was great, some of the best I've had in a while.
Looking forward to getting takeout again soon!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Phillip M.Collegeville, PA4711Jul 26, 2023
This is one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to. Food was super tasty, great amount of food for what you paid for. Staff was very nice and place was clean also. I would recommend to anyone who wants great Thai food!
