Nice Shop, good shooting range & good people. The store was small but stocked with a good selection of everything you'd expect in a gun shop. Pretty large selection of targets (placed on the corner of the ceiling, behind the register), for a $1/each. Had a good time in the range, and was pretty much left alone to shoot. Couldn't even tell we had a Range Safety Officer there, as he just hung in the back and let us do our thing. I believe the range was about $12/per person. Went on a weekday, around 4:30pm and we were the only two in the range. I think there are about 6 lanes or so. *FYI: They don't let you use your own bullets - if they're made of steel. Reason is, no steel ammo is allowed in the range (as most Indoor Ranges around here) - potential of ricocheting bullets (I'd say this is a good thing). **BUT, you can bring your own brass bullets or just buy theirs for about $17/box.
This is for several years ago as I refuse to patronize this business. They were holding a family day with several manufacturers represenatives my Son had been asked by one of the companies to come meet with them. At the time he was 10 and had been shooting for 4 years winning lots of trophies and competitions. Long story short the rep asked him to do a few hundred rounds on the range with a new pistol they were bringing out. The Owner/manager never found out which as he stated he was both then claimed he was neither. I consult for several public, private and federal agencies & would have been with him along with the rep. They refused to let him shoot at something advertised as a family event. Son is now older, better and the company offered him a full ride to college of his choice if he would join there shooting team after graduation
Here's the problem, the guy went back with us was very friendly. I have never been to a place where you can't bring in your own targets but no biggie. Here is where problem was When we got done, we shot for an hour $12. He said how much ammo did you shoot, I said I don't know, he said guess. So he gave him a number only to find out they charge us for how much we shot. A better business practice should have been they tell us that before we go back and shoot. So it ended up costing us $33.00 instead of $26. You say we didn't complain well it's too late. You can't compare this to a restaurant at a restaurant you don't pay by the hour. We can bring our own shoes and bowling ball to bowling. You run a gun store where we will never return. We have never had this happen at a gun store. What we want you to learn is tell people first, don't wait and give us a shock.
GREAT service! Used them to ship a firearm to a family member out of state as well as purchasing ammo and accessories. VERY helpful.
Awful service! They don't let you use your own bullets, they want to sell you there's! Went here with my uncle who has his federal firearms dealers license and managers reasoning was "I don't like the looks of it". Go elsewhere!!!
