They told me they don't have any policy that related to refund. He being smart by telling me that I thought you know. Is that a very experienced customer service. You thought doesn't count.

Great service and beautiful high quality fish, the service was good and mask wearing was mandatory. The employees were helpful and nice and helped me find some good fish. There was a great assortment of bettas and there was many colors and species.

Gem Coast is a awesome and very honest business to work with. When I originally ordered my betta fish I was accidentally given the wrong color but the management at gem coast went above and beyond to correct this mistake for me. They worked with me continuously, the owner gave me his cell phone number, and updated me weekly with new fish they had to help me find the one I was looking for. Overall they treat their fish with excellent care and I love the live arrival guarantee. Furthermore they're one of the only companies that lists the actual length of their giant bettas which is a huge help with making a decision. Great work Gem Coast, I will be a customer for life.

It took a month to receive my fish. The company is almost impossible to contact. They rarely answer the phone and e-mails even less frequently. My fish was shipped from San Diego to LA on a Friday...which I thought was careless because it spent 4 days with USPS. If they had sent it M to Th, it would only have been 2 days. The fish arrived and initially was quite colorless (from stress) but has improved a lot

I have ordered guppies from them for the first time couple weeks ago. After placing the order I read some of the reviews and was worried sick cuz it wasn't cheap (about $350 worth)
However, guppies arrived at my work safely and most importantly healthy. Even after about three weeks, all of guppies are healthy, active, and eating well.
After going through the first experience, I ordered my 2nd round of guppies. During the preparation time, I have email them two addition separate orders and they were glad to add them to my current order.
Today I received the 2nd order. I did order 31 fish total (about over $500) but only 30 came in but I was happy with quality of guppies and I'm sure they missed one of them cuz of my last minute order so I didn't bother to contact them for the refund.
I'm glad that I gave the local fish store a chance despite some of bad reviews on the online. Every time I called, they were happy to answer and most importantly, they do ship put healthy fish.

Do not buy from them they have horrible customer service. Ordered my fish on feb 25th. It is March 10 and still no fish no contact on why it taking so long, also very curious why the ORDER LOOK UP on there website disappeared. Nothing. So i email no reponse. I called them no response. Finally after calling like 20 times, they finally anwsered. 1st thing i do is give them my order number (38188) he looks it up. First thing he says after he looks it up is you only get 30% back on a refund. Not sorry we are running behind or some reason why. Then he wants to say it doesnt say if we dont have the fish or if it sick you get full refund which it does. Never buy from this company again they will rip you off!!!

I ordered two separated orders #15983 (trio and live aquarium floating plant) and #15671(trio and pair), but they only sent me one order #15671(trio and pair). I called them and asked where is my other order #15983 and customer service said to me they sent it together. They are Big scums and stole my money! Be aware to this store Coast Gem USA. After 2 weeks all guppies were dead!.. I lost all my money..

Took a month to send ship and send it in freezing temperatures without notice after I repeatedly asked them to cancel order. If you like horrible customer service, overpriced fish, with zero communication this is the right place for you!

The owner was so kind and incredibly helpful.He help me set up a tank and stay open later to find fish that can fit the tank.Over all grate serves.

Ordered a betta on Jan. 23rd and it's now Feb. 14th. I've emailed 3 times in regards to when it will be shipping out and was told sometime between 7th-14th of February. Still no shipment and no tracking. Asked for a refund with no response so I will be disputing with the bank. Would not purchase from this company I just wish I had read the reviews first.
