Three amaretto sours had no alcohol Well excuse me from being from LA where splash of bourbon is in amaretto sour. Please learn your customers and your craft. Unprofessional staff. Horrible bathrooms. Great music from DJ but poor customer service.

If I could give it no stars, I would! They didn't give us our full order, then when we called, WITH RECEIPTS AND THE EXACT TIME, they claimed they didn't have an order for that . They gave us NO wings.

I will say that Club Illusion is a character all on its own. Some go to actually club. But others go for the grub! Have you ever seen a drive thru situation at a club?!! LOL, only in East St. Louis.

Illusion is reminiscent of a mom+pop neighborhood shop. Friday and Saturday nights, you'll usually see long lines from the parking lot. But it's not always for the party. The food... It's the food, mainly the chicken, that brings all the boys (and girls) to the yard. The wings, shrimp & fries are really good. Not mind blowing, but good for what it is.

I mentioned before that there's an actual drive thru, but if you're inside and find yourself hungry after drinking and such, you're able to place your order there. It's that type of late night vittles that drunken nites are made for. Hell, even on regular days.

I'm adventurous and is always down for a hood spot. I have no problem going back...for the food.

THIS was one of "THE WORST" places that I've ever experienced in my life, this place was around when I was a toddler, and so were the "regulars",the drinks are watered down, but the food was great FRIED CHICKEN WINGS, but other than that this is a "B.F.F" (BIG FAT FAIL).
If you want to have a great time out and have great drinks with your friends, then this is "NOT" the place to go.!!

I used to frequent this join a few years ago--2009-2012 and back then I would have given it a five star review, the crowd the atmosphere the bar staff and of course the chicken wings!. Any day of the week by 3am the place was kicking the crowd was friendly the fish in the aquarium looked the part...I mean they were happy; the art work on the wall was classic, portraits apparently showcasing the patron of the club. I used to frequent there on different days of the week, Friday and Saturday being the busiest ( that is no space to sit, standing shoulder to shoulder) but with no aggravation just the jovial spirit.
But something has changed! 2015 on a Thursday night in march, it was empty at around 1 am with only one person at the Bar, an old bitter woman who could've had a role in American Horror story...she was thankful for my tip but gave me the voodoo vibe when I asked where all the people were at.
I ordered some chicken wings and asked where the regular chef was, he was the artist the responsible for the portraits.... that sparked some sour grapes obviously something happened at Club Illusions that has broken it down, from that point on I was treated like paparazzi not a patron ...albeit the only one there, the drama is not worth it, by all means go there but have a plan B! The Chicken Wings are still A1! However I think the life of the party has been removed or remanded...just saying.
