BUYER BEWARE!!! I made the mistake of purchasing and having these folks install computer programs Driver Update and Slim Cleaner on my laptop. The tech went into other areas on my laptop and told me I had all kinds of problems and tried to sell me $400 worth of services. I declined and told him there was nothing wrong with my laptop. He was very pushy and argued with me. I finally ended the call. When I tried to use my laptop later that day, it was crashed. All it would do is boot up; none of the programs worked and I couldn't get on the internet. Couldn't even run a diagnostic. I called customer service and a very rude rep said I had to give them $300 for one of their "certified technicians" to fix my laptop. I told him no, I just want a refund and I would take it to a local repair shop. He argued and became very aggressive. He finally agreed to refund my money. I then filed a scam/fraud dispute with PayPal. I would also give them no stars if I could.

Be careful if you are trying to get a refund thru clkbank. They will LIE to you! I called for a refund within the time period, the clkbank employee convinced me to allow him to extend my return period to allow the seller to contact me and resolve the issue, the seller never contacted me. When I called back within the new return date I was told the first return date was past and there would be no refund.
For me I will not do business with a company that LIES and will never do business with clkbank again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Margo A.Raleigh, NC0131Oct 10, 2022
1st let me say that that telephone number goes no where I called and got nothing. They are impossible to get ahold of.
They are horrible for customers. I ordered something and rejected both offers of "buy now save more" however, the company immediately charged me for more than I ordered. Not there fault but that's when I learned how clickbank works for dishonesty
The card I used is one that I keep at a $500 limit. I do that on purpose. The second and third order that the company charged me for would have rejected it, but I discovered that clickbank automatically went to another card I have. They did this without my permission.
I eventually tracked them down through paypal, and they refunded the money but it took a lot of effort and I wonder how much more are they doing and to how many people.
I am reporting this to the local news, the attorney general and any consumer advocacy group I can find.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anthony O.Culver City, CA23417Jan 2, 2019
Clickbank is a dishonest affiliate website that enables vendors avoid paying affiliate commissions to people who promote their products.
I spent the time writing blog articles and e-mails about a particular vendor's product, and the vendor later rerouted the sales page I'm sending affiliate traffic to a different digital product and sales page to cut me and other affiliate promoters out of a commission.
When I complained Clickbank stated, "Vendors have the ability to remove and change their products as they choose. This is why it is up to affiliates to be sure that their information is up to date with the offers that they promote."
OK... so I can spend time going through a program, write articles, make review videos and send paid traffic to a program that cuts me out.
Scumbag cheats.
And to top it off my commissions have conveniently slowed to a trickle on other programs I'm promoting - I wouldn't be surprised if Clickbank didn't like what I had to say in my customer service e-mails (that I would find another affiliate platform to work with) and decided to pocket my commissions when they realized I would be migrating to another affiliate platform.
They should change their company name to Stealbank.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cheyenne C.Cheyenne, WY01Nov 10, 2013
Watch out. I avoided this creative software scam by reading RipoffReport and Scambook and BBB sites. Hundreds of complaints unanswered.

Very easy to talk to, very fast response.
If your vendor uses them, it is
recommending.
I bought a software package online
that didn't work. I removed it, my
online banking showed CLKBANK
with their phone number, I called,
there was a brief wait, I gave the
order number and it was done.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Gregory P.Long Beach, CA2151Nov 12, 2012
Seek out another service if you can. I inadvertantly made a mistake when closing out my account and their policy alloweed them to keep all the funds in my account. When I asked for help after the fact, they wouldn't budge. I might also add they are difficult to use when configuring an account, and they kept dropping my password (4 times!). They won't go the extra mile to keep a good customer and don't are much for small fish like me. If you choose to use them, tread very carefully. I'd ggive them no stars if I could.
