I believe in shopping local; but it helps when 'where' you shop knows their stuff and can give you relevant info and advice when asked for. Have bought batteries, belts, cables and more here over time. What was especially impressive, tho, was stopping by the other day for what turned out to be a $3 bottle of Armor All. Was cleaning my car -it was close to their closing time - yet the counter clerk was friendly, helpful and cheerful. Not always something you find when you walk in close to closing time...and buy something for $3.

This is one of the few real "parts house" places left in this area since forest city went under some years back. It is so nice to actually have a "parts guy" who really knows parts, not some moron whom only knows how to punch what you need into the computer. With all of the other mega chain parts stores that are now on every other corner now, I do recommend giving these guys a call. Their prices are competitive with the chains (maybe a little higher), but you actually get the right parts first try along with and advice or tips to make your project easier.
