Friendly staff and always high quality products that you don't find everywhere. A must stop every time we are near brainerd.

This was an unexpectedly cute find with specialty food items and local goodies. I bought a B.E.A.R. (blackberry, elderberry, apple, red raspberry) jam and a package of wild rice to bring home.
There's also a neat cafe with soups, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and a variety of coffee and tea offerings. I was excited to try the namesake wild rice soup. It was pretty bland but was pepped up with the addition of the very salty croutons. The turkey apple brie panini was on the sweeter side with a nice melding of flavors.
Worth popping in for a casual lunch or perusing when in the area. Grab a slice of fudge on your way out!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Phoebe J.Pillager, MN08Jan 26, 2024
How can you have "wild rice" in your name and have the nerve to serve the nastiest wild rice soup i've ever had. Seriously a FOUL taste and I LOVE wild rice soup. We were very disappointed as we have been wanting to try this place for a while but couldn't even choke down our soup. They also didn't give us spoons.

Fun place to shop and the food is pretty great as well. Don't be fooled by the name though, you can't get Christmas stuff year around.

Very large gift store set up with your typical areas. Gifts for children, infants, wine lovers, pet lovers, gardeners, gourmet foods, etc. They have furniture in the lower level with quality leather and some other home decorative items. There is a lot to look at here.

a favorite stop of ours when we're up at the lake! great shopping with an amazing selection. tons of gift-worthy items, minnesota gear, and furniture. some items are a bit pricey, but even just walking around and "window shopping" is quite fun.
their food is also AMAZING - our family fave is the "up north club" with a cup of chicken wild rice soup, and some of their "buy 4 get 2 free" fudge for dessert (located near the checkout).
you will not be disappointed!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shaun R.St Cloud, MN2519183Jun 1, 2013
Based on the name of the store I was expecting a store full of tacky christmas decorations however instead I found a huge selection of cabin/lake home decor, unique furniture, unique kitchen supplies/gifts, and a charming cafe. The prices are touristy high but you can find some good deals if you hunt a bit.
A great stop to find a host gift if you are visiting friends or family up at the lake.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joyful B.Baxter, MN216Jun 22, 2018
Such an enjoyable time eating here today. All the food was just what we wanted. I got there famous chicken salad sandwich with chips. The croissant was so nice and fluffy, like it was fresh that day! The sandwich was filled so much, that I used there housemade chips to scoop some of the filling and that made for a wonderful taste and texture that complimented eachother wonderfully! I highly recommend this place, but expect to pay a bit more then a normal lunch.

If you are looking for a great giftshop, Christmas Point Wild Rice Co. has it all! There are fun gifts of all kinds for all ages. You may also find a lot of things for yourself. This shop has three floors full of gifts, clothes, shoes, jewelry, furniture, toys, kitchen items, and there's even a cute little cafe where you can grab a coffee or Italian soda. Be prepared to spend a lot of time browsing so you can cover each floor. (In other words, leave impatient shoppers behind.)
