We called for an estimate to replace our split HVAC system. We got an appt quickly and met with the owner. He was very nice, and helped us understand what we had, so we would understand what to buy. He gave us an extremely good quote on American Standard.

I forgot to leave a review last time Nabi came out he was great and very helpful fixed my a/c unfortunately now my heater isn't working so I will be calling them again I will follow up my review after they leave
We have had this company for several years. Every time we have called for service we have had good honest people come out. I love the fact that they don't try and sell you on something unless you need it. They let you know exactly what's happening and why. If you will have to replace something and how long you could or should wait.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I rarely write reviews but I feel I need to warn anyone considering this company.
My AC stopped cooling following a power outage that impacted most of Rocklin. Based on Yelp reviews, I reached out to Christensen. I called on Saturday and secured an appointment for Tuesday. Tuesday morning they called saying their technician was out and needed to rescheduled for the next day. Knowing a heat wave was coming, I asked if I should find another company and was assured he could come out the next day. Wednesday morning same thing. Apparently, this company only has 1 technician and no back up plan.
I get things happen but be honest with your customers. Had they told me there was a chance he would be out for a couple of days, I could have started looking for someone else right away. To operate in the Sacramento region, in summer, with 1 tech and to not have back up plan is simply bad business.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

We are extremely sorry for how things went this week. I cannot apologize to you enough. As a smaller company, we are more affected when one team member falls ill or something happens. We are currently and have been attempting to hire more technicians to ease this situation. Right now, we are struggling to find technicians that have the experience and ethics our company would want to send to your home. In desperate times we could hire someone with no ability, or questionable morals but that wouldn't provide the quality customer service we strive to give everyone. Unfortunately, the last two days were a perfect storm of Murphy's Law and we failed you. We are nothing but apologetic to you for the experience you recieved from us. This is why it was most important to me that you get that first call offering the appointment for this afternoon. I do understand why you declined. If you reconsider working with us in the future, please reach out to me directly. I want to make sure any future interactions with us go as smoothly as possible.

We had a standard service. The tech owner I believe was courteous and straightforward. Cleaned up my system, and we're ready for summer. I will look to his company for continued service / repair needs. We'll done!

Mark came out and diagnosed my air conditioning unit, unfortunately I'm going to need a brand new unit. Mark was extremely helpful and called the sales department right away. This is a great company and I would definitely recommend others. I am thankful that they were able to send Mark out this week to diagnose my system. Carmen was pleasant on the phone.

I am a landlord and the heater broke in my rental as temperatures were dipping into the 30's. I reached out to my home warranty company and they and the vendor they contracted with were dragging their feet for WEEKS!!! Frustrated, I reached out to Facebook for recommendations on a Saturday and Soren Christensen reached out directly letting me know they could help that week. I explained the situation and Soren said he'd get back to me on Monday once he spoke to his vendor. The heater was replaced by Wednesday morning at a lower price for the entire replacement than just my portion through the home warranty company. THAT'S HOW YOU DO BUSINESS!!! I am so impressed with Christensen Heating & Cooling. I am now a loyal customer and will be recommending them to everyone!! Thank you Soren, Tarrah and Mark! (3 weeks on and I am still fighting my home warranty company for the cash payout)

We had a great experience with Christensen Heating and Cooling. Soren was great during the estimate process. His price was several hundred dollars below that of our friend's HVAC business. Everyone in the install crew was very respectful, masked when communicating with us and as clean as possible considering they're working in an attic. I really appreciated that they made adjustments to help the appearance of the components. Our A/C unit is near the window. Adam went beyond what was necessary, rewiring to keep the visibility at a minimum. The same when deciding the location for an additional return. They really listen to feedback.

Soren, James and Jason are professional, honest and compassionate. They go out of their way to take care of the customer. When the weather got very warm, our AC unit was not working as it should so we called Christensen Heating and Cooling. When they came out, they checked the system, explained the problem, fixed it and charged very reasonable rate. We would highly recommend them for maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting and repairs.

Honest, professional service from a locally owned company. After suffering through the final weeks of summer last year when my AC died (It had been on its last leg for a couple of years), I knew I would have to replace it this year. From the recommendation of a friend, I called Christensen Heating & Cooling and the whole process was incredibly smooth. Soren, the owner, came out to discuss my needs and then followed up with three options for good, better, best. No high-pressure sales. Just honest, high-quality options. Once I made my decision, they were able to get me on the schedule within a few days. Soren's team arrived as scheduled and were very professional. I'm up and running with cool air, just in time for the hot Sacramento Summer season. Thank you, Soren and team!
