China Bowl

Anytime I'm in the South Florida area, I try to stop by China Bowl in Sunrise. Their meal combinations are unique, and you will receive enough food for 2-3 meals or a meal that could potentially be shared with 2 others. The value that you receive is incredible. The amount of food you receive is some of the most generous in quantity compared to any other Chinese restaurant I've visited in my life. The rice is incredibly flavorful, and they put generous amounts of protein within the rice compared to many other places.

Out of the other Americanized Chinese restaurants, I'd say that this one has some of the best tasting rice and consistently good protein.

I strongly recommend China Bowl, and the next time I'm in the Sunrise area...I'm going to stop by. 5 stars overall as this is a personal favorite!

If you're looking for a place worth the money, try this place. The food portions can easily feed 3 people

Yelp led me astray. This order was nothing less of disappointing. I got bbq spare ribs and an egg roll and had to throw it all away. First, the portion was huge but incredibly bland and gross. The bbq ribs had no flavor and it gave me a bad feeling. The egg roll was so soggy and gross. So $20 in the garbage. Don't eat here!

Love this place! The food is amazing and the price is more than reasonable; the food to cost ratio is phenomenal. I've been eating from here for months now and have finally met the lovely people behind the delicious food. Sam is a really sweet funny woman ask for her. I highly recommended this place it's the best in Fort Lauderdale.

This place is a great spot for lunch. The food is good American Chinese and the owners and staff are very friendly. Prices and portions are very reasonable.

It is a hole in the wall, but good food.

p.s. don't expect a lot with decor and just order what's on the menu without any substitution

This was the worst chinese my husband and I ever had. We ordered the generals tsos chicken and the seseme chicken they were both very bland and low quality. The egg rolls were also very bland and I have no clue what they stuffed it with very gross looking and tasting. The crab rangoons were cold and soggy. Worst chinese food ever.

Ok, so if you know China Bowl, then you know China Bowl. This isn't "authentic" Chinese. This isn't even "authentic NY take out" Chinese. What it is is satisfying. Satisfying in that their combo fried rice is cooked fresh when you order and actually has meat AND vegetables - it's not the orange-brown stuff with chips of roast pork, kept in a vat in the back, which some places use in their "Lunch Special". It's more than satisfying in that the portion is sufficient to feed two for two days, especially if one of the two is a moderate eater. Prices are more than satisfying when you compare the amount of food to the dollars spent.

Not the best neighborhood but not the worst either. Like most 'hoods, if you don't start nothing, shouldn't be nothing so conduct yourself accordingly. The ladies behind the plexiglass are Asian and Trini (I believe, forgive the assumption), polite if they don't know you and especially friendly if they do.

So let's recap, good food, great prices, good service, ok location...that's a B, right?

I love this place, they are open late and they have a good menu with almost everything that should be on a Chinese food menu. The portions served is big, they are not stingy on the food and give you a lot, more than one person can finish eating. The prices are very affordable especially for the amount of food you get.

We love love love this place we drive al the way from Hollywood just to get Chinese food I recommend this place to everyone a lot of food for low price good quality

You're not going to find an Asian eating here because there's practically no Asian in this town. I went days without seeing one other than myself and was like WTF. So don't be gauging Asian places in this hood by Asian attendance.

This place makes a mean spicy fried rice. Great service. Lady who worked here totally remembers me. But then again, I'm probably the only Asian she saw in days other than the supposed Asian cook who I never saw but she assured me was in the back.

The portions are huge. HUGE!
