This location has been here a long time in Martinsville and has always been a popular place as one the few restaurants with table service outside downtown Martinsville until a recent influx of new restaurants. The dining room has been well maintained and is not showing its age at all. The bar area is intimate with plenty of sports screens.
I ordered the New Chili's Philly but held the jalapeños. I love jalapeños but my body doesn't like them anymore, lol. The sandwich was good, however I think they need to choose a hard bun or roll to hold the sandwich together better. They're using a soft bun together with Queso cheese and the sandwich falls apart quickly. Also I would prefer the steak chopped into smaller bit size pieces. But I was able to eat it despite this handicap and it was delicious.
The fries were outstanding; cooked to perfection. Obviously I loved them! I also ordered a root beer and got the good ole bottled IBC brand. I think soft drinks taste so much better out of a bottle than any other way.
The restroom was clean, stocked, and had a pleasing aroma. Parking in their private lot was not an issue with plenty of spaces available despite being a popular lunch place.

We went to Chili's last night. They weren't very busy, but there was still a wait. They were obviously seriously understaffed. They were doing a great job keeping up with the place ! We saw two servers and the manager was even serving food. As a food industry worker myself, I feel their pain ! Downvoting a star because of the attitude of the server we had. He threw our straws at us. When we were ready to go, we asked for a self pay station. He came back and pretty much slung it on the table. I understand being short staffed, but being friendly goes a long way.
I had the buffalo ranch chicken salad. It was really good ! However, sloppily made. The chicken was cold and unsure if it was meant to be served that way. But, it would have been better a little warmer.

Had a great experience here. Food was hot and served quickly. Unfortunately the waitress spilt my daughters dinner and had to wait for hers to be remade. But they made it right and gave her a free skillet cookie which she loved. Server was very friendly and kept up nicely.

Went here for lunch. We sat at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and provided great service. Food was good. It came out quick and hot. We would eat here again.

I'm just not a fan of Chili's. But I do for their chips and salsa the guacamole I had was good too. The picture I attached is my Strawberry Margarita which was sticky all the way down. It was okay kinda tart but I drank it. Everyone enjoyed their food no complaints. There was 3 of us. Our waiter was great.

Above average, friendly hostess & bartender. Efficient! And food was hot & tasty-kitchen even split our share order of sliders & fries. They did everything I would have prepared at home without the charcoal& grill & deep fryer. No problem coming back here again. Great job Martinsville!

This is literally the smallest Chili's I have ever been in. Tiny. I have no idea why as Martinsville isn't THAT small, and it's a good pit stop between Indy & Btown. Anyway, I came in after being in town briefly. The bartender wasn't at the bar when I sat down, but she was only away for a couple of minutes which gave me a chance to decide what I wanted.
When the bartender arrived, I ordered my Presidente Margarita and then just had to choose between Big Mouth Bites or the Margarita Grilled Chicken. Both are my standards at Chili's. I ordered the chicken, and it was exactly as I expected which is all I ever ask at Chili's.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tobin W.Martinsville, IN1330Mar 23, 2018
Our past few visits to Chili's have been inconsistent at best but after dinner last night we will not be back. The only positive of note was the friendliness of the hostess. Service was slow. Getting the wrong drink delivered to our table replaced took nearly 10 minutes. The menus have changed, again, with increased prices, lower quality food and smaller portions. The menu prior to this one had promise with fish tacos, nice presentation and some smaller dishes that we were looking forward to eating.
The shrimp fajitas seemed a safe bet but I was mistaken. They didn't arrive at the table sizzling like fajitas do, rather a microwaved concoction with tiny shrimp covered with a disgusting sauce. The tiny side plate had a few pieces of shredded cheese not enough for one fajita, and a tiny bit of tomato. A strangely added bowl of beans accompanied the fajitas. The tiny shrimp probably purchased at Wal Mart and the cost of a bowl of beans and it quickly became obvious this location is in trouble and they believe these cost cutting techniques will improve their bottom line. Well, maybe it did for our table last night. But we will never be back and that is quite a price to pay for cutting corners.
Our table receipt didn't work so we told our server. She said ok and walked away. We of course assumed she was going to get us a receipt. After five minutes it became apparent we wouldn't be getting a receipt and gave up, happy to get out of this restaurant.
Finally, without being graphic I will just say that much of the past 12 hours have been spent in the bathroom. To say we should get our money back would be an understatement. Martinsville isn't known for having a plethora of dining choices, but there are enough options that you shouldn't find yourself dining here.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Vl K.Martinsville, IN250Jul 5, 2019
July 4th Chili's was open and Los Reyes was closed. Our bad luck!!
The service was slow and the waitress was was unfriendly but not rude. She seemed to ignore us most of the time even though the dining room was almost empty. I did tip her 15% reluctantly. The credit card machine kept saying ready but still took 5 minutes to process my card. Our fajitas and beans were cold and looked microwaved. The rice was nasty and the silver dollar-sized tortillas were useless as a fajita wrap. French fries were ok. Tea was good but the lemons were in the tea and looked soggy, not on the glass. This was one of the worst dining experiences ever and on my granddaughter's birthday. I must add the waitress smiled for the first time when we left. I don't blame her really, it must be hard to work at this place.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0
