These people cannot be trusted with money.
I paid for a $5000 procedure in advance. The Doctor Who was supposed to perform , a specialist who had to do an implant, was no longer with the firm when a few months have passed, so I reached out to the firm and they didn't have a Doctor Who is capable of doing the procedure.
Moreover, they refuse to give me my money back.
So they didn't do the job, they can't do the job because they don't have a doctor on hand that is capable of doing the procedure. And they kept my money.
After a long and hard fight, I did get back $1200. They outright stole $3800 from me.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Beverly B.San Francisco, CA01Jan 31, 2024
Dr Richard Song the orthodontist doesn't wash his hands. When I asked him to wash his hands he acted like the king of the jungle and still went on to do his job from patient to patient without washing his hands. This is unacceptable. The office experience was disappointing until I spoke up. And to say the truth all the employees just came in put gloves on and went to work. No hand washing at all. So unsanitary so if you get Dr Richard Song tell him... WASH HIS HANDS!
Of course he didn't like me because I spoke up and I told him to wash his hands.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jaimie M.Newark, NJ01Feb 22, 2024
Absolute worst dentist in the ironbound. Made an appointment for 12:20 pm and wasn't seen until after they returned for lunch at 2pm . Around 2:45 was finally called in for X-rays and sent back out into the waiting room to wait for someone to do my fill ins . Around 4pm I had finally had enough and just left. They had me sitting in there in pain for four hours. Offered no solutions to the pain, no medicines and was told they would start my dental work in certain areas and test to see if that would help the pain. This had to be the worst most unprofessional experience I've ever had at the dentist. Spent a whole afternoon here just to still be experiencing pain and when I stated I was leaving I wasn't offered any solutions other than if I wanted to make an appointment for the next day! As if I would spend another afternoon in this office how insulting. They're more worried about squeezing as many people as possible in and not actually about getting any real work done !
DO NOT GO HERE !! Do not !!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Fatimah H.Newark, NJ021Aug 17, 2023
Ive been coming to this dentist for quite some time now and I have not yet to have anything good to say about this place I had my crowns replaced in front of my mouth and I have been coming back and forth here to get them tightened up since I've gotten them done, and my insurence is constantly being charged. Years ago when I got my crowns with Dr. Raines on Clinton Avenue and never had a complaint they last for 10 years and the only reason why I did not go back to them is because they don't except my insurance anymore. Abra dental is taking a vantage of my insurance constantly having me coming back-and-forth . My smile is my everything and it's ugly. Thanks to Abra dental..... it's only one star because Dr. Kapadia was good and now he's gone.

People are courteous at the front desk but the main reason you will go there is for dental care and that is exactly what will not get . They treat dental care as if you were taking your car to Jeffrey lube. Is just ridiculus, how is that this people get a way with this type of service in hight emigrant areas of NJ . Because they will not dare to to pull this off in any other areas. This model of business is recipe for disaster.
No one knows anything they try to look like a they know what they are doing when in fact is just mess. No I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who want to safe your tooth.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - K. R.Perth Amboy, NJ01Nov 19, 2023
Had a root canal there and this month they referred me to a dentist in Nutley to fix their incompetent work.

While the receptionist admin area was friendly and courteous. I do feel like the practitioners have more of a residence feel. They seemed disconnected to the patients and there seem to be staff all over the place. I wish I had a better experience since it's closer to my home but I rather go a distance with dentists who have more experience and provide quality service. To be new in the neighborhood, you should be really striving to build a great rapport with new patients. Kathlyn was helpful and took her time explaining to me the dental procedures. Thx Kathlyn! This review is for the jersey city location on ocean ave.

Abra dental is like a slaughter house they get the patients in and out. All they care about is making money. They lose patients files and insurance information on the daily basis. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!
