Chicken Rico - Dundalk

Great chicken from Chicken Rico! We order take out every so often and the food is always perfectly cooked. Friendly staff and the food is always ready fast.

The best chicken in town!!! Seriously you have to try this place out! Their sides are typical but you get a lot for your money. Fried plantains are superb! Tres Leche cake slices are yummy! I absolutely rave about this place to my coworkers all the time

While I think everything is delicious and heavily spiced and seasoned...I always end up with an upset stomach that last deep into the night. So sadly, I can no longer patron Chicken Rico.. Overall, I think the chicken is delicious, but the health concern is real.

I got a family meal and i was missing 3 items when my family got the food the chicken was raw I would not recommend this place

I've been searching for a Peruvian rotisserie chicken place in the Baltimore area and I've found it! Chicken and veggies were well seasoned. Price point was affordable and customer service was awesome. Will definitely return. The green and mild sauce were a great consistency.

Solid Peruvian chicken joint. I think it is a little more peppery than most. Hits the spot though!!!

This restaurant has really great food! I had the chicken burrito and it was delicious! The two sauces that came with the burrito were delicious as well. I will be back to try more items.

Good alternative to fried and much healthier choice. This location has gotten better over the last year with usually no "out of that" items. But still hit or miss. My real beef is salt. More often than not very over salted and really ruins the chicken. There is no reason to season with that much SALT. I prefer more pepper which is hardly noticeable. Also a chicken neck does not equal a chicken wing in a 1/4 white order. Lastly, salad is so so and too overpriced as a side. That's it.

I have been to the Dundalk Chicken Rico location about three times now. I have yet to have a disappointing experience here. I just happened to check in and saw that the reviews are surprisingly low. I wanted to rectify the absurdly low rating.

For what it is, you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal. The food is virtually exactly the same as the 5 star Yelp-reviewed Highlandtown location with options not even available there (the outstanding green beans, for instance).

The prices are lower, the staff is friendlier, and the place is cleaner, and the lines move faster. The chicken is spectacular, side dish portions are generous and even the veggies are flavorful.

If you're measuring Chicken Rico against Morton's then it does not compare. But if you pit this location against other fast casual dining establishments, you won't find many better than this Chicken Rico.

I have ordered carryout three times over the course of a year and was hoping it was a one time issue with it being salty. I realize that some folks like things salty, but in my opinion, it is too salty. Other than the chicken being too salty for my tastes, the flavor is good. With other Peruvian chicken places opening in the area, it will be good to compare the flavors.
