I love eating. What's even better? Trying global street foods from 6 different spots in 2.5 hours

Phyllis is the founder & lead tour guide of Chicago food ways since 2014. She's a french-trained chef that showed me everything about the ingredients, argyle's history, music halls, restaurants. She knows every family business owner. Ive had some of these restaurants on my list and some I've never heard of before but WOW were they AMAZING

Will be bringing my friends & family & coworkers on this nice & easy walking tour.

I did the Argyle/Uptown/Andersonville tour with a huge group (around 100 people). They divided us up into 4 groups and all had a fabulous time! Our group leader Mandy was so fun and knew a lot about the area. The very best part was the food! Every stop was amazing. I highly recommend!

I did this Little Italy walking tour with my 12 year old son and another friend of ours while visiting Chicago. I really enjoyed the tour. The food was good and I like hearing about all of the history for the area. Phyllis is very easy to be around and very engaging. I do think this may be better for guests who aren't 12 year old boys since their attention spans may not be as committed to the tour. However, even my son enjoyed several of the foods we tried and has added one to his "must do" for the next time we are in Chicago! I would definitely recommend this walking food tour for anyone that is a visitor or even a resident of Chicago that wants to immerse yourself in something beyond just the typical "touristy" aspect of what Chicago has to offer.

I did the Stockholm to Saigon tour with my dad today and I cannot say how FANTASTIC this tour was. Phyllis really takes the time to make this tour a fun, interesting experience. Every new restaurant we went to I learned a new fact about the city's culture. All of the restaurants were places I have never been even though I live only a few el stops away and I am so grateful to have learned about them. Delicious, interesting, and so well executed. I would recommend this tour to anyone and definitely will be sending people to her in the future! I look forward to trying some of her other tours soon.

Fabulous food tour! Phillis led us through the Argyle and Andersonville neighborhoods sampling foods and drinks from local Vietnamese, Swedish and Lebanese restaurants. Along with the food the group had a great history lesson on the area and the culture. Our guide was personable, knowledgeable and fun! Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it.

Saigon to Stockholm food tour is highly recommended. Phyllis was an excellent guide. She was well-versed about the history of the neighborhoods, the establishments we visited, and the cuisine. She was well-prepared, even offering free rain ponchos to those who forgot to pack umbrellas. She also had hand sanitizer, kept us on schedule, and helped people with directions. The tour is appropriate for tourists or locals like us who live in Chicago. It was a good value for the money. Just the right amount of food was offered. Really liked the variety, too. Our original tour was scheduled last year; my son became ill, and Phyllis was flexible about letting us reschedule at the last minute, which was very kind. If you are a local and want to learn more about the city, this is a great tour. And tourists will love getting away from the downtown hustle and bustle to see these neighborhoods, which are the fabric of a great city.

Phyllis is so kind and knowledgeable about the cuisine, culture and history of the neighborhoods. We took the Saigon to Stockholm tour and honestly just expected to try a couple of quick bites. We were served large portions of food at each stop and learned so much! The next time we are in Chicago, we will do Phyllis' Italian tour.

We've lived near the Argyle and Andersonville neighborhoods for a few years and had no idea about some of the gems in our backyard! Phyllis is a fantastic guide who introduced us to restaurants and dishes we would not have found on our own. She pairs the culinary delights with historical context and interesting anecdotes for the locales on the tour. I highly recommend it!
