Had them out again to help with a problem that came up with my stove. From my first call to the appliance doctor to end it was less than 36 hours. They came out that day, diagnosed the issue and then ordered the part. Billy was awesome in his diagnostic work and then Omar came in the next day with the part and installed it.

All of these things are incredibly important for somebody who is working from home. this is the second time I've worked with Chicago Appliance Repair Doctor, and it will definitely not be the last.

There is no camparison between Appliance Repair Doctor, Inc. and the first two companies that I called to repair my old Kenmore Dryer. i didn't want a new dryer because i wanted it to match my old "workhorse" washer and i did not want the new electronic dryers, that i have heard so many negative things about. i called the first company, and to make a long story short, after 3 visits by 3 so called, technicians, they left me with a bigger mess on my hands than i had in the beginning. They wanted to give me a free dryer for all the problems they caused and time wasted. I told them just give me my money back and finally, they did do that.

I then called Sears thinking surely if any one could fix my Kenmore dryer it would be Sears. Three more service calls later and paying them a diagnostic fee of 195.00 they said the part they needed was no longer available so they couldn't fix the dryer and it cost me over $100 to find out they could not fix it.

Frustrated as all heck, i called the Appliance Repair Doctor as my last attempt to get my dryer fixed. Let me tell you, that there is no other appliance repair company that i have ever heard of, that is as top notch as this company. Don't waste your time with all the others. i called and 2 days later Omar arrived when he was scheduled, as pleasant as could be, and within a half hour replaced the motor and a few other parts and my Dryer is as good as New at a much lower and affordable price. I told Omar, it was like Santa Claus and the Easter bunny coming all at once. This company is the only company i will call in the future when i need an appliance repaired. They are THE BEST. They really know their stuff!!!

I contacted Chicago Appliance Repair Doctor (CARD) when I noticed my freezer was growing incrementally warmer. Sunday night is never the optimum time to notice something awry with an appliance. Fortunately, I had filed away CARD's contact info (phone # to call for repairs in the city of Chicago) based on a truck of theirs I had seen parked in front of a nearby condo building. Often it is a hassle to source a repair company that will come out to a high rise, so I immediately reached out to this company, knowing they do work in the city. I texted on Monday and immediately was booked in the system. The earliest available appointment was on Wednesday, which worked for me as the fridge had not (yet) reached crisis proportions. Omar, the tech that was sent out to look at my Sub Zero refrigerator, called when he was about 10 minutes away to let me know of his imminent arrival. Right off the bat, I was impressed by Omar's calm demeanor, consideration (he wore booties!), and organization (backpack filled with necessary parts/equipment). Before I knew it, he had vacuumed the refrigerator coils (which had not been cleaned since I moved into my condo), switched out a burned-out lightbulb, and replaced a water filter with a part that I previously ordered. He also sorted out the temperature issue and got my arthritic ice maker back on track. His patience in answering my questions put my mind at ease. The cherry on top is the seven-day warrantee on labor, meaning I can call if anything goes wrong in that timeframe. The pricing was transparent and fair, and I was emailed an invoice shortly after service completion. I took CARD's refrigerator magnet and plan to call on them again when the need arises.

I reached out to Javier at Appliance Repair Doctor based on multiple recommendations from people in my neighborhood and dog groups. My oven stopped working. He determined that it could be the result of two different parts, so the quote included the price for replacing both. He came back two days later with both parts. Upon replacing the first part and seeing the oven begin working again, he said the second part was no longer needed. He said I could probably get another year out of it. I appreciated his honesty and integrity, which is not common nowadays. He will be the only person I reach out to for appliance repairs in the future!

CARD was a great decision. Responsive, professional, transparent. Omar was a great repair person- spelled it all out, explained what he was doing, showed me parts, up front with all costs. Put their magnet on the fridge and will contact them again if (when?) needed.

Came in, diagnosed the problem with the dryer, had the part and repaired it quickly. Easy to recommend.

We had an issue with our 10 year old Bosch dishwasher not turning on properly. Steve examined it, determined it is in good working condition and we ordered the part. Came back a few weeks later (the delay was with Bosch) and fixed it.

Omar replaced the igniter on my seven-year-old Samsung oven on 12/28/23. Omar arrived on-time, was respectful and pleasant, and worked efficiently to diagnose and repair the oven. He asked for the oven model prior to the appointment so he could arrive with the parts needed to complete the repair. The price was fair and the service was excellent.
