This was my first time trying Tunisian food, and i was not disappointed! I had the chicken tajine with almonds and raisins, and it was delicious. My parents and my brother had couscous which came in HUGE portions. I tried to help them finish it but failed.
The mint tea as dessert is quite refreshing.
Our server was super friendly, the food came within a reasonable amount of time, and the decor on the walls was so nice to admire while waiting for it to come!
Overall a great place to diversify your palate! - 3595140657077/8/2018
I had lunch here while on vacation. It was one of those places, which we walked by and decided to grab a quick bite. It is centrally located near some points of interest for tourists.
Seating is nice with outdoor seating as well as inside tables. The decor is traditional with Tunisian/ Moroccan art. There are halal/zabiha meat options for people who eat halal. Also they have some vegetarian tagines with couscous.
The service was slow since the hostess was also the server. It took a extremely long time to try to get the check at the end. It's Tunisian/Moroccan/Mediterranean cuisine. I ordered the meatball tagine with couscous. The taste was decent but nothing spectacular. Their lunch menu was limited but maybe their dinner menu has more options.~ - Kevin M.Fremont, CA02497/4/2021
Ok we came here completely by mistake. Meant to got to the adjacent place which was closed and instead allowed us to be drawn to Chez Hamadi. I really wanted to like this place because the service was very friendly and inviting, 5 starts for the main server. We were disappointed by the food though. I had the lamb tajin which was lacking in bold flavor. The veg couscous was ok. The fish (don't remember the name) was good. Overall the food was a solid 3.

wonderful food, nice & super friendly service, they brought out a dish just for us to try & did not charge us.
Sweet little place, and as other diners arrived, the owner greeted them warmly. - Sam G.Vancouver, WA133195/24/2015
We went to this restaurant for lunch, based on my previous experience with eating there when I was on business trips a decade ago. We ordered the mixed appetizer plate, the Lamb Tagine with Figs, and two Mint Teas. Sad to say that my experience this time was not as positive. The quantity and quality of the food were not as great. The 14 Euro mixed appetizer was a little tomato salad, a small tuna salad scoop, and an oily chakchouka on a little plate. The Lamb Tagine was very tasty, yet very small. As for the Mint Tea, we received two glasses and a very small Ibriq (100mL pot) that usually serves one person, and no refills. Make sure to ask for a carafe of tap water (and show the waiter a picture?), my partner asked for regular (tap) water, instead, she received a small (500mL) bottled water, and was charged 3 Euros for the water.
