We went here with my grandmother for her bday. Note to everyone, the staff is NOT KID FRIENDLY! My toddler's presence seemed to stress some of the staff out. We were walking out and being super conscientious and one of the waitresses gasped and said "oh my goodness, I feel like I'm at Disney again".
The food was just okay. My sandwhich was basic, american cheese slice, bacon and eggs. The breakfast potatos were super bland.
Mimosas were gross.
The corned beef hash was pretty good but could have used a lot more seasoning.
Would not return or recommend to the younger crowd.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Bud L.The Villages, FL877945Feb 5, 2024
Very dated interior. Stools at the bar need to be replaced, you sink thru cushion and sit on wood frame. Food was good, 18 bucks for fried chicken seemed excessive. Would be nice if it was still 1990.

I like the bar & the golf crowd.... but ...the crowd is 70 and over mostly .... a bit "over-the-hill" for me.... but it's okay. They were all very nice.
As far as wearing masks & social distancing ... forgeddaboutit.Helpful 16Thanks 0Love this 13Oh no 0 - Paola S.TX, TX01Feb 24, 2024

May Not Be Your Cup of Tea!
This past Saturday my wife and I went out with our monthly dining partners Fran & Ed. It was their month to chose which restaurant to go to. They made a 6 PM reservation at Cheers at Stonecrest. The place was rather dated and worn but there was a DJ/Singer playing, the dance floor was crowded and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who proceeded to seat us away from the fun-loving gray-haired partiers in a quiet corner of the restaurant (btw, the 4 of us are also gray-haired partiers as well). A charming waitress, Jean greeted us, brought water, left and then shortly afterward took our drink orders. Drinks were very reasonable and the pours excellent. Next big decisions were dinner. Both Ed and I always have soup. I ordered the red wine French Onion soup and Ed had the soup of the day which was a mushroom chicken soup. Soups were small (more like cups). Dinner came with a salad and there was Pork Schnitzel on the menu. Pork Schnitzel is Pork Schnitzel! That said the red cabbage to me is the star along with the German potato. I asked Jean if she could bring out a little taste of both the cabbage and the potato salad and she was happy to accommodate my request. They were excellent! Fran ordered the Sirloin and Ed ordered the fried coconut shrimp. Salads were served and just as we finished our first round of drinks Jean appeared with or entrees. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dinners, drinks and the service we received. By 7:30 the music stopped and the restaurant was pretty much empty. I would rate Cheers a 4 for food quality, quantity and service but Cheers is by no means fine dining. I would rate is a 3 1/2 for appearance and noise. For an enjoyable evening I would definitely recommend Cheers at Stonecrest.Helpful 1Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 0 - Janet P.Charlestown, RI029Oct 23, 2022

Having to scan your drivers license just to enter the area made me very uncomfortable. Turned around and left

Great food, great service, excellent prices! We are so lucky to have this club at Stonecrest! My mom raves about the Friday night fish fry and we can't believe the price of a draft beer! What a bargain and Tina, the bartender, is informative, attentive and fun!

6 of us went here for lunch yesterday, 4 having been there several times as they live in the community, 2 of us visiting. All morning I heard how fabulous the hotdogs were, and I love hotdogs!the 3 women ordered hot dogs and fries..... not many I have had were this disappointing! All 3 were cold, overcooked and the cheese on mine was like a sheet of plastic. The fries had been sitting around all morning and were cold and greasy. One woman asked for hot fries and what she got was the same! The burger a fried got was burnt, dry and cold! The cold sandwiches were the only thing the right temperature ..... server was friendly and helpful but obviously the staff couldn't get food served with any proper timing! Glad it's not my community club....
