Checkers

If I could give this place minus stars I would.

I needed something to eat before going grocery shopping. I ended up here.

The person took my order for 2 burgers a plain dog (for Chop) and a small fries. I paid and waited. As it was time for my order to come up I looked in the pick up window and the manager was making my food with plastic gloves but answered a phone and kept handling my food after touching the phone with both gloved hands. That is against standard food handling practices.

I only got one burger and it was gross - dry and flavorless and small and not even warm. The dog was not hot and was not good quality. The fries were greasy - (not cooked in oil hot enough) and had a weird texture and taste.

I'll never visit a Checkers again.

I went to checkers tonight at 8pm, drive up because it looked slow and I was craving a baconzilla and cheesey fries. So I pull up to the drive through. And wait, and wait. I understand if a place is busy a simple be with you in a moment is nice. But nope I continue to wait 3 minutes have passed no sign of life inside. So I give up, my hopes for a baconzilla is lost no one should have to wait 3 minutes to be greeted at drive thru menu. As I drive up and I wish I took a photo the lady who I assume is running the window and drive thru is leaning on the sandwich station chatting with the sandwich maker. To boot the guy who's waiting on his food at the walk up window clearly looks as annoyed as I am like he had been waiting some time for his food as well. Poor service and the fact a location in Palm Bay had rodents really make this place more and more unappealing no matter how good the food is. Hope someone will reach out about this incident, the person on shift should apologize for there lack of service it's not like they had lines all over the place it was 8pm at night. Will I return? probably, not like I can get a baconzilla anywhere else like how checkers makes it. Wendy's might be able to but I gotta request the liquid cheese that comes in the baconzilla already

I love the food but the service is intolerable. Last time I was there went thru the drive-in and the order was all messed up. Thought I would not go there again, but today passing by thought I would give it one more try and go to the window. Stood at the window for minutes without anyone coming so left again. I will not be giving them another chance.

Needed quick snack. Ordered the $4 meal. Small bacon burger, fries, drink and apple pie at the drive thru. Can't really complain about much at that price but frankly the burger was disgusting. Fries and pie were fine, but the burger didn't look or taste like real meat. Could not detect any bacon flavor. I ate it and survived but doubt I'd go back for any reason. Service was fine.

yeah this checkers is deffinatly an epic failure and so are the night crew workers there.

Just left there. Screwed my order up completely. Tried to call but phone is off the hook. Won't go back.

First time easting at a checkers and I was pleased :)
Fries are very yummy, def beats Mc....fries
Large soda sizes and fair combo prices.

Every time I go into the roseland florida branch of Checkers, the customer service is excellent and that customer service is why I choose Checkers over the other fast food places in the Sebastian area...Lyn

They don't answer the phone... I tried 10 times with no luck i just finished calling corporate.

I used to love Checkers as a kid when my mom would just wamt to grab a quick bite for the kids. But now they never get the order right. I feel like all local fast food places here just are deteriorating. The staff has also been very rude.
