I love these fields.. they are so manicured on the grass and very nice to train on.... you get beautiful back drops as you watch your kids train till sundown... it's a great place to work out or bring your pets for the workout with the doggie park right on property

A great park and soccer complex with astro turf and fields with real grass too. Tennis courts are also nearby at this park. Club soccer tournaments held here often on the weekends and ample parking available. Walking trails and gazebo with benches are here too. Overall a nice spot for a picnic of large events.

Charlie Kellogg and Joe Zaher Sports Complex is located off of the Sumerlin Parkway and Durango exit. I had a race for JusRun, the Rockin Reindeer Run 5k, on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. There were a few soccer games on-going, but I didn't realize until I started running the race how large the complex is! The bike/run path, which included going through the overpass area, was able to accommodate the 3.1 mile.
It was a nice area! While running, I did notice the different sport complex areas such as the soccer fields, dog park, and the bathroom. There were a variety of picnic areas as well! This course was pretty difficult since there were a lot of hills, and it wasn't a flat path! I'd highly recommend this park if you're in the area!Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 0 - Apr 8, 2023
I recently spent a weekend at this sports complex for my daughter's soccer tournament...
While the complex offers well groomed fields for soccer, they also have walking trails, playgrounds, a dog park and what looked like much more. There are bathrooms (albeit far from some of the fields) and plenty of parking. It was a convenient place for our team based on where we were staying while in town.
I don't have much more to share at this time, but the overall experience at these fields was a positive one. It didn't hurt that my daughter's team won the bracket for their age group too!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Jan 18, 2022
Came here for a soccer tournament in January. This park is located conveniently right off the 95 freeway. Really glad the temperature was right. I can imagine a hot day in the summer here - blazing hot I imagine.
The grass was green and well maintained. Parking wasn't too bad. Minimally interacted with employees - a trash guy- he could've been with the tournament rather than the park. He was nice.
They could use some better ways of identifying fields. Parked not too terribly far from the field my son played his game at, but some guidance would've been nice. Restrooms were ok. Didn't get a chance to check out the dog park, the grass seemed pretty dead. Our dogs liked the regular fields and walkways. Large walkways and some exercise places. They could use some more shade type options around the fields.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 2945238Jul 21, 2022
I like this place for walks. There is a nice multi-use path that goes around the soccer fields so it's easy to rack up some miles. It's is well lit and lots of friendly people around so walking at night in the summer isn't scary....just be smart. Nice clean bathrooms and dog park all in the area.

With my gym still closed, I have been walking in the neighborhood and beyond. I decided to drive here and walk the perimeter trail that is listed on the website as 2.44 miles.
Since the first time I was here, I was just riding through, I didn't get the chance to see the picnic areas, the play areas for kids, and the other amenities the sports complex has to offer.
It's fun leaving their path and taking a side trip over the new pedestrian/bike bridge that crosses the Summerlin Parkway and makes an easier way for some people on the south side to get to the park.
As I was leaving, I saw one of the dog park areas. I'll be back, and I'll take the opportunity to watch the dogs as they play.
It was a fair workout and I shared the walking areas with many people who come to this park.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0Jan 22, 2012Previous reviewI rode my bike through this park today following the Bonanza Trail to the Angel Park Trail. I have been in the park one other time, to attend a pro tennis match in the main court at the Darling Tennis Center on the west end of the park.
The park has 11 soccer fields and there were several games going on when I rode by. I could see several tennis players in the side courts and you could hear the balls being whacked.
There are plenty of picnic shelters and children's play area on the north side of the park.
This is a really pleasant place to ride through if that's what you like doing. I can see that it would be a great place for a family outing. - Juan C.SoMa, San Francisco, CA01May 29, 2023
The referees are favoring other teams over the other and calling fouls in soccer even the the other player didn't touch or interact with them

Super large park with so many sports fields. There is a large dog park too. Playground and fitness area. Parking spread all over the park. However lack of shade is a problem here in summer.

They spent millions of dollars to build this sports complex but they couldn't afford to install sinks in the rest rooms and upkeep of them! Great way to spread E Coli!
The toilets were horrendous! The urinals were filthy and theirs no TP in either stall!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 3231528118912Oct 19, 2015
"Sports complex" is an accurate name for this place: it's massive, with designated spaces for almost every activity you can think of. I love the Angel Park Trail to walk, bike, or run (and it's used locally for a few different 5Ks throughout the year), there are several soccer fields. I'm unclear whether this space officially includes the Darling Tennis center, or if they're just adjacent, but that's near enough to count, too.
The dog parks and playground areas make this a family-friendly spot, with clean bathrooms and plenty of picnic tables. The parking lot is enormous, and there are multiple entrances from Washington- so if you're meeting up with a group, it's wise to be specific about where.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0
