Cute and quaint lil 1950's style diner. A Coca Cola collectors dream!

The menu has a wide variety to choose from.
The server came over without pen/paper. She took our order and repeated it back correctly.
The food was piping hot and delicious. I had a create your own omelette --home fries with onion! Yum! The portion was huge! The price was small.

Our server told us to meet her at the register and again from memory she rang our order up. Impressive! She was friendly and attentive to keeping our coffee and water filled.

A great lil but busy diner. We will stop here every time we are on our way to/from Foxwoods.

Charlene's Diner in Jewett City, CT, easily secures four stars as the best breakfast spot in the area. It has become my family's go-to choice when no one feels like cooking in the morning. The corned beef hash and sausage gravy over biscuits are standout dishes that never disappoint. The staff's friendliness adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making it a reliable and enjoyable dining experience.

Very friendly staff and food came out quickly. No complaints here. my husband and I couldn't finish our plates. Large portions and I love that they ask if you want onions in your home fries.

ove this place. The food is good, the place feels like an old school diner sponsored by Coca-Cola. Our server was attentive, sweet, and cute. Definitely stop here if your looking to get away from the casino.

We were looking for a nice breakfast on our way home from Foxwoods. Found Charlene's a mile off the highway & loved it! Service was great, super cute diner atmosphere, and food was really good! I got half a Belgian waffle with strawberries & an egg sandwich (couldn't eat it all) but both were fabulous. Top 5 breakfast I've ever had

Such a local gem. Each time I go, I try something new. So far, everything has been exceptional. Friday, had the NY pastrami sandwich. It was soooo good! Service is also stellar. We are so lucky Charlene's is in our town!

I headed here after reading the Connecticut Diner book. It has such a homey small town feel inside. We were promptly seated, and our food was good. Our server kept our coffee cups full. I highly recommend the sausage and gravy plate- it was seasoned, creamy, and had the right amount of biscuit and sausage. I believe this is a generational family run restaurant, and I hope it continues for many more years!

This was my first time going here for breakfast! Not only is the inside absolutely adorable with all the Coca Cola decorations but it's also very clean & well laid out! Plenty of options for seating from counter, to tables & chairs & booths! They are able to accommodate small or larger parties! The food is delicious with plenty of options to choose from for breakfast, lunch & brunch! The staff are courteous, friendly & efficient! Highly recommend trying this place if in the Jewett City area!!

Really neat hole in the wall! Coca cola everywhere! Super fun and great people. Friendly service and just a overall fun place for friends and family.
